1 in 10 women have endometriosis... it usually takes around 7 to 10 years to get a proper diagnosis.🎗️

beyond the cramps, fatigue, pain, digestion problems, and fertility struggles, endometriosis quietly steals pieces of your everyday joy.

i first started noticing something was wrong when I was 16. Almost six years later, I finally have the answers that doctors, ultrasounds, birth control, and therapy couldn’t quite give me.

For years I felt dramatic (even crazy at times) wondering if it was all in my head. But with the help of my doctors, PRAYER and seeking peace with the Lord, and my sister Ashlee @ashlee_aldrich who battles stage 4 endo, I’m finally feeling hopeful.🥹

Today, I’m just SO grateful. Grateful for answers, for healing, and for the chance to live without constant pain!! Grateful to spread awareness for the 1 in 10 of us fighting this battle every single day. 🎗️💛 taken in Summerlin Hospital Medical Center by @olivia.lefai

There’s a version of home that has nothing to do with a place.
It lives in familiar voices. In the smell of family recipes. In the way someone calls your name.

Me & Maea moved to California in one of the most stretching seasons of my life. I was figuring out so many parts of myself. My health. Who I was becoming. In the middle of all of it, my grandma called. Just to ask about the weather.

This voicemail found me on a day I needed it.

She wasn’t trying to be profound. She was just checking in. That was the most special part. She's exactly the kind of person who loves you quietly, consistently, without ever announcing it. How I love her.

I’m learning to be a storyteller. These videos are my way of creating, sitting in nostalgia, and holding onto the most sacred moments so I never forget them. by @olivia.lefai
