I can’t believe it’s already been a week since I got to see @danandphil perform their Hard Launch World Tour Live. I have never felt safer in a venue, and never felt more seen and accepted with such a large group of people who all understand what it’s like to be different. @night.bees thanks for sticking with me through the show and being such a sweet person and new wonderful friend! Thank you to everyone who brought and shared trinkets and little gifts!
@raymonddwallace thank you for the GORGEOUS pictures and stunning photos!
And @danandphil thank you for making me feel a little less alone, and encouraging me to hard launch loving life, being brave and actually chasing the things I want to do and experience in life 🖤💜💙

Nobody Told Me how awesome first concerts are.
Thank you for an incredible night. Your music has inspired me to write, to be more creative, to get out of my comfort zone. I might not have even gotten to experience such an awesome night had I let my doubt control me. Thank you for pushing me to take chances, to live life to the fullest, to Endeavor.

This night meant a lot more to me than just seeing a band I love. It felt like proof that I’m finally becoming the person I’ve been trying to be.

Here’s to taking the risk. Here’s to making the memory. Here’s to being a little more alive every day. 💜👻🖤

Part 2: Meeting people! One of the primary reasons I go to conventions is because I get to meet people that I’ve looked up to since I was about 12 years old. I got to meet the AWESOME and INCREDIBLE @therealsaberspark and tell him how much I love his videos. His analysis on the MLP fandom is what made me interested in critical thinking, writing, and analysis of character. He is still an inspiration to me everyday and I can only hope to reach his level and skill of critical analysis and creation one day.

I also got to meet all of the cast of The Amazing Digital Circus, (some at MomoCon and some at Toon Fusion) and have them sign a piece of fan art I made. They were all so sweet and kind and attentive. They handle the fandom with such grace and kindness and gratitude and positivity that I really look up to, and I really appreciate their words of encouragement. TADC is such a special show and I can only hope to create something as meaningful as this show has been for me one day. I’ll finish off by saying the most important thing this show has taught me:
“Sometimes it all just feels…pointless. But it’s not. Not if you have people who care about you. Good memories can do a lot. Hold onto them, and cherish the people around you. You’ll never know when they’ll be gone. In this world, the worst thing you can do is make someone think or feel like they’re not wanted or loved.” by @olivia_anne10

Part 1: Cosplay. I saw so SO MANY amazing cosplays this weekend at @momocon and even got to meet some cosplay celebrities 😜 I LOVE that everyone who chose to cosplay was so crafty and creative with all the characters! I can’t wait to start making cosplays from scratch, hopefully starting this fall for GalaxyCon. Just some fun facts about my Jax cosplay: I hand stitched the ears and added a key necklace. I thought the fingerless gloves were a nice touch too 😉💜🐇5 Bucks to anyone who can guess how I made the ears stand up on their own!

GalaxyCon 2025, you were absolutely phenomenal. Thank you to @galaxyconraleigh for creating a place where nerds and geeks like me can come and celebrate fandom. The amount of love and appreciation and support and respect for people from ALL walks of life I saw last weekend was unbelievable! I cannot express how amazed I am by the time and craftsmanship put into every Cosplay I saw, the details on all the amazing fan art and merch, and especially the gratitude and love for their fans from people like @rejectedjokes (Ben Schwartz) @actordanielross and @thechristianborle who have been inspirations to me for years. I am so lucky to be able to participate in such a wonderfully creative, strange and unusual, and unique event with so many people who get me. I hope to be on the other side one day, and look forward to celebrating again next year! Stay weird 😜🤪🥰 by @olivia_anne10

Before I get into all the convention stuff for this year, I have to post about the incredible @rob_paulsen. A year ago this weekend, I spent about 45 minutes in a conversation with the most gracious, talented, kind, humble, caring uplifting person I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. The voice of Carl Wheezer, The original Raphael, 2012 Donnie from TMNT, Yakko from animaniacs and many many more. I want to be just like him when I grow up, and not just because of what he does but because of the joy and thankfulness and pure love that flows from him and everything he does. He is the person we should all aspire to be, and a perfect example of what the world needs more of. He never stops lifting other people up, expressing his gratitude, and exuding pure joy and heart to everyone he meets. Thank you for everything you have done and shown and taught me. Remember, Laughter is the best medicine. You can’t OD and the refills are free! Goodnight everybody! @rob_paulsen by @olivia_anne10

“We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.”- Walt Disney

I can’t believe it’s already been a month since I graduated from UNC Wilmington. Without that quote and my friends, family, and teachers, I probably wouldn’t have made it this far. There were so many times I wanted to throw in the towel and quit, but I did it and decorated my graduation cap with the fingerprints of all the teachers, friends, and co-workers who have touched my heart and life, because they are the ones who remind me to Keep moving forward.

Thank you to @leah.bphotography for the INSANELY AMAZING photos. by @olivia_anne10

Six years, Two Departments, One incredible adventure.🎓🎉🎭📝 Yesterday I graduated with the class of 2025 from UNCW. It’s been a long journey but I can’t express how grateful I am to the teachers, classmates, coworkers, and family that helped encourage me and stand by me to get here. They have taught me that it’s okay to make mistakes, but to own up to them when I do. They’ve taught me that connections, Community and commitment are essential. They have taught me, pushed me, encouraged me, and held me. To @uncwtheatredepartment Thank you. Every student and teacher I’ve worked with has changed my life in some way, and I hope to make you proud and work with you again soon one day. To the creative writing department @uncwcrw Thank you for believing in my words and helping me through my hardest times. And to my family @cfaleland Thank you for supporting me through out every class and exam. I love you all. Thank you for helping me Soar High!

On this season of life: Assistant Stage managed an incredible show, built a hat from scratch, formed deep wonderful friendships, saw my idol and inspiration in concert, worked on and developed my own style, and passed my classes with all A’s :) Now just one more semester to go 🙌🌟🔥 by @olivia_anne10
