Sirf "Mahol garam" nahi karte, educate bhi karte hai! 🙏

Used the platform of @defeat_your_feet to educate the mass about what bellydance actually is. The steps that you blindly follow and the music that you unknowingly groove to, has a lot of history, culture and tradition around it. Rest, I'll let the performance speak for itself ♾️🧿

Thank you @capermaniaccrew for organising such a wonderful event where we get to represent and uphold our style to the optimum level 🙏

To be able to put this up in front of an audience and judges like @rawshan_official and @rohaaanpal , means the world to us! 🙏

|| DEORA || 🌊🤍

Presenting to you my story :”) Four years ago, I remember journaling everyday about “what am I doing with my life?” I worked as a content writer, then as an English facilitator and lastly as a sales executive. I used to wake up at 4 am to practice before I left for work, at work I hallucinated people and figures dancing around me, came back home and practiced till my body gave up :) Little by little I was getting spent and losing hope.

On a new moon, I decided to quit my job as I didn’t want to live with the regret of never even trying to pursue my passion and here I am today, on a full moon penning down my story, not achieved anything great but managed to pursue my passion with hardwork and determination.

Thanks to my beautiful parents, my elder sister, @meherbanjaran mama , my best friend and my well wishers for the love and support! ❤️

Thanks to my babies @priyankadas_2699_striveok @barshaaaaa_ghoshhhhhh @chandrabiofficial @nehaa.a._ @akanksha_deb2 @srijaaah.____ @an_indiangirl_ @filming.akansha_ for hopping onto this project trusting me, they have been my driving force from the very beginning, love and love only ❤️🪬

@_shreoshi for bringing my vision onto screen so effortlessly ❤️

Some emotions beautifully captured from my solo at “Love: the Fifth Element “ by @souvikbanerjee07 ❤️💫

I love ghazals for the lyrics, the feeling, the depth, the heaviness. It speaks to me a language that most done understand. My solo had to be on a ghazal 🥹
