Scottish football and the arts might have more in common than you’d think… ⚽️🎭

Really enjoyed this point from @oliviacaw about the disconnect between the standards we expect at the top and the resources and opportunities available to develop talent.

A really interesting part of our wider conversation about how we better support creative careers in Scotland.

Be sure to see Common Tounge this month at the Edinburgh Fringe @scottishstorytellingcentre

I think when you’re pursuing a creative career, it’s easy to feel like you need to fit in. But often, the thing that makes you stand out is simply being yourself.

Really enjoyed this conversation with @oliviacaw & frsrsctt about embracing your individuality and finding your own voice.

🚨 New Episode!

Thrilled to be joined this week by @oliviacaw and Fraser Scott to chat about their acclaimed Edinburgh Fringe show, Common Tongue.

We discuss finding your voice, building a creative career in Scotland, why working-class stories deserve to be told with joy, and why we need to be bolder in the work we make.

A brilliant conversation with two people who care deeply about storytelling and making the arts more accessible. Be sure to go see Common Tongue!

A huge thank you to @assemblyfest for having us back again this year. It’s always a joy recording in the Assembly Gardens during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. You might hear a little background noise throughout the episode, but that’s all part of it!

Also, a massive thank you to @vaishuwashere
for her invaluable production support throughout the recording.
