POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

This past year, the Lord has taught me so much about His character and faithfulness. I went from searching for worth in the approval and validation of others and living for the world to realizing that my identity is secure in Christ alone. He lovingly showed me that my value doesn’t come from people—it comes from being a daughter of the King.

He’s also shown me that I have no reason to fear or be anxious, because he is a God who always provides more than we could ever ask or deserve. His peace and guidance are constant, even when we can’t see the whole picture.

Baptism is my public declaration that I belong to Jesus. Because of that I’ve died to my old life and have been raised to walk in new life with him!

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭11‬:‭28‬-30

I am so blessed to have gotten the opportunity to take a step of obedience in my faith and get baptized today (at the last service in the old City Light building and on my birthday 😆🤗)! taken in Citylight Lincoln Church by @oliviaerks
