Olivia England (@oliviahengland) is currently a resident at The Revue Residency until the end of July.

Born in London in 1999, England is a multidisciplinary artist whose sculptural practice explores materiality as a vessel for memory, identity, and the lived histories of objects. Often working with wood, metal, and found materials, she merges traditionally industrial processes with domestic, gendered symbolism, conflating the public and the private, the structural and the intimate. Reflecting on her ongoing engagement with how craft, care, and memory are embedded in the surfaces of things, through layered material vocabulary, England gestures to the quiet, accumulative weight of domestic life, its textures, repetitions, and residues.
England holds an MA in Visual Communication from the Royal College of Art. Recent solo and group
presentations include On View (Gallery Rosenfeld, London), Heartlands (Flexitron Gallery, London),
and Internet Cafe (Hypha Studios, London).

Reach out if you’d like to book a visit!

𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑺𝒑𝒐𝒊𝒍𝒔

4—9 June 2026
Opening event: 4-6 pm, 6 June
Bolding Gallery (Alfies Antique Market)

Duo show: Flo Bracey + Maya Silverberg
Curated by Olivia England + Rita Osipova

The Spoils is situated within Alfies Antique Market, a site shaped by circulation, reuse, and accumulation, the exhibition finds a natural counterpart to its concerns with material afterlives. Like the works themselves, the market is a place where objects are detached from their original function and enter new constellations of meaning, carrying traces of past lives into the present.

Alongside The Spoils, anticipate a curated exhibition and shop ‘Rumpelstiltskin’ by artists Mia Violet and Jamie Bull and a solo exhibition ‘The The The Three’ by artist Jack Davey👯‍♀️

Opening Night – 6th June, 4—6 pm
📍Bolding Gallery, Ground Floor, Alfies Antique Market

We are extremely proud to present The Spoils, a duo exhibition by Flo Bracey and Maya Silberberg at Bolding Gallery.

In his writings, Walter Benjamin often returned to fragments — the debris of history that survives disaster. Not as whole narratives, but as scraps, traces, offcuts. He saw in these remnants both ruin and possibility: the residue of what has been, and the raw material for what is still to come.

Together, the works create a dialogue between vertical and horizontal, heavy and fragile, found and manufactured. Above and below, scrap and trace, they share what Benjamin called the “spoils” of the present: material remains that glimmer for a moment, just before slipping away.

Singing at the Table (2025)
Oak, Tweed

Oak trays are reimagined as a framed tribute to waulking, with women’s images wrapped in buttons and Scottish tweed cushioned into Chesterfield upholstery. The hinged work serves as a frame for the art of waulking and women’s gatherings.

Currently on view at ‘The Floor is Lava’ @bowarts 125 Shaftesbury Ave - on till Sunday x by @oliviahengland
