Our Shiloh June was born on October 20th at 11:12 am and is the most precious 6lbs 4 oz bundle you’ve ever seen in your life (at least we think so) 🎀. It was the longest and hardest 30 something hours to get her here… I saw the sunrise of two different days with no sleep in between and will be processing her birth for a while. Her labor and delivery was by far the hardest and longest of all 4, but worth every second.
When she was born, the first diaper they put on her literally had her name printed on the back “Shiloh”. It was not lost on us, or anyone in the room, that even the print of the diaper had her name inscribed on it. This surprise baby, whose name was whispered to my heart, was knit and formed in my womb by God Himself and He is writing every word of her story. And in His kindness, he is constantly reminding me that He is the author and His works are masterpieces. “God’s gift of peace”, our Shiloh girl, is finally here and we’re so thankful. by @olivialooper

First home run.

Most people see the crack of the bat, the smile, the celebration, and me losing my mind for you.

Your mom and I see the early morning tee work-that no one asks you to do, and the swings even when no one is watching. We see the drive, the focus, and the way you keep showing up.

You earned this moment and tonight, it showed.

Proud of you, bro. Keep swinging. by @olivialooper

Turks & Caicos Part 1 ✨
Staying at Prince’s former estate felt like an actual dream, our boys loved the island life, and we pretty much hated having to come home. It was just one of those weeks we’ll want to re-live for the rest of our lives. Take me back! taken in Turks And Caicos by @olivialooper

April 🌼
We have a first set of pigtails and I don’t know that I’ll ever get over them. We took a trip to the zoo, a few field trips, lotssss of baseball, and a first championship ring!
Shep’s 3rd birthday was rainy but full of his favorite people so it didn’t matter, and we celebrated Natalie (almost) Harp.
We’re getting creative with school because we’re almost done and everyone can feel it 😵‍💫.
It was a good month, packed full to the brim. by @olivialooper

It’s March, and here goes a 2025 recap… 🫠
We’ve been (unintentionally) hibernating and holding our people close, as we try to recoup. 2025 was a year I hope we never have to re-live, but I hope we can say we are coming out on the other side stronger and looking a little more like Jesus than the year before.
We lost so much last year and have grieved so much. We lost people we loved dearly, walked away from things we felt called to, and cancer has creeped in to loved ones lives. It was a scary, gut wrenching year, and Cameron and I held on to each other as we held on to Jesus, so tightly. Obedience to the Lord and to His Word was costly, in ways we never imagined, but isn’t that what he calls us to? Obedience no matter the cost.
I’ve thought a lot about this story from 2 Kings.
A widow’s husband had died and creditors were coming to take her sons away. All she had was a small pot of oil. Elisha told her to gather empty vessels and told her to pour. She kept pouring, and kept pouring. It didn’t run out- until the vessels ran out.
She poured from emptiness. And heaven supplied what she didn’t have.
That’s where we’re starting as we pick up the pieces and start a new year. We’ll keep pouring, and keep trusting Heaven to supply what we don’t have. He’s never failed. by @olivialooper

The most perfect fairy first birthday for our girl 🥹

To the little girl who stole her daddy’s heart: Happy birthday, my sweet punkin! You’ve got your mama’s eyes, your brothers’ grit, and your daddy’s whole heart. In the middle of life’s chaos, your mom and I never knew that our Shiloh, “God’s gift of peace” would come wrapped up in you.

Your brothers adore you and protect you with everything they are. You’ve softened them in ways only a sister could. Never stop reaching for me, never stop giving us those giggles and sweet cheek kisses. You are pure joy in tiny form.

Happy birthday, punkin. by @olivialooper

A little bit of life lately ✨ We’ve been back to school since July, but I’m just getting around to documenting it.
I’m homeschooling Finn (1st grade) and Ollie (Kindergarten). Shepherd is a big preschool boy at FBC, and Shiloh is still glued to my hip. And once a week we all go to co-op together!
Our homeschooling days we have affectionately re-named porch school, because we have (with Nonna’s help) converted the porch to a school room and have been loving it.
We love slow mornings together, learning together and celebrating each other’s wins, cookies in the afernoon for read-alouds, and so many more things TOGETHER.
These days are so long and exhausting, but also full of wonder and sweet moments. I’m so thankful we get to choose the life we want for our kids and that in this season we are able to slow down and soak up the little years.
These are the days! by @olivialooper
