I’ve officially signed with @gettyimages as a photographer in editorial📸 I’ll be covering various events for @gettyentertainment like red carpets, film premieres, concerts, & more🔥 Hopefully my 1st assignment will be covering the strike because I stand firmly with @sagaftra and the WGA✊🏼

In January, I got my 1st Getty Image taken by a Getty photographer. Fast forward 6 months and now the roles are reversed…I’ll be the photographer taking someone else’s 1st Getty Image😱 Full circle moment! Isn’t it crazy how life works?😁

I had literally been manifesting a flexible part-time position that would still allow me to prioritize my film work as a writer/director🎬 then BOOM! This incredible opportunity came along🙌🏼 I can’t wait to start this next chapter and see where it takes me❤️ Thanks to everyone who has supported me along the way!

Happy adoption day! To me 🙋🏻‍♀️

For those who don’t know my adoption story, it’s a pretty wild one💫 My mom wasn’t able to physically have kids. So she always knew her & my dad would adopt. But the process of adopting an international baby is usually really long & complicated.

One day, my mom got a call that a baby boy was available for adoption in China. She immediately went to my Auntie Jean who was known for her psychic abilities. Auntie Jean told my mom, “No. This is NOT the child for you”. My mom was skeptical. She asked, “Are you sure? It could be months or even years until another Chinese baby is available for adoption” 🤔

My mom listened to Auntie Jean. She did NOT adopt that baby boy. Then, to her surprise, another call from the adoption agency came very soon after. This time…it was about a baby girl. Auntie Jean told her, “Yes! This is your child. Go get her!”🙌🏼 And BOOM! I was adopted😁 That baby girl was ME!

While we’re not biologically related, everyone always tells me that I look like my parents😝 Shoutout to Mama & Papa Wong for giving me the best life imaginable, ever since we met on September 21st, 1996. I believe we were always meant to find each other! I love you guys with my whole heart & will always celebrate this day❤️

We WON!🏆 BEST HORROR at the Oscar Qualifying + BAFTA Qualifying festival @lashorts for my short film “You’re IN”🎬

I’m so honored to receive this award out of the 500+ films featured in the festival with over 5000 submissions🙏🏼 The odds of getting accepted were already pretty low…so winning this award was truly such a shock!!! There was only a ~0.25% chance of this happening😅 But the judges/jury must have seen something special in this project🔥

Thank you to my incredible cast & crew for helping me bring this story to life!!! Words can’t even express the immense amount of gratitude I feel towards everyone involved, especially since most of the team volunteered their time for free. Huge shoutout to all of my awesome friends & family members who have supported along the way💗 Especially those who came out to celebrate with us in person!!

I’m proud to announce that “You’re IN” will be premiering at an Oscar qualifying festival @lashorts 🙌🏼🎬 We’ve officially been selected! Here are some stills from the film to get ya pumped up to see it🔥

This film is SO special to me & I had an absolute blast writing, directing, producing, and editing it💫 After 2 of my friends unexpectedly passed away in 2023, I started thinking a lot about how we choose to live, especially when we’re confronted with the fact that we will all inevitably die one day. “You’re IN” became my way of exploring that sentiment through psychological horror.

I can’t wait to finally share this film! In addition to being Academy Award qualifying, LA Shorts is also BAFTA qualifying. Two exciting firsts for me!😁

My Coming Out story🏳️‍🌈 Recreated for AAPI Heritage Month + Mother’s Day❤️

When I was 24, I “came out” to my parents as lesbian via group text😅 I was terrified. My dad replied instantly with support, but my mom didn’t reply & didn’t speak to me at all for a few months. It broke my heart to think she didn’t support me. But later that year, I went home for the holidays to an unexpected surprise. My mom said, “I was thinking of you when I was out. Got you some clothes. They’re in your room”. Upon walking into my childhood bedroom, a pair of RAINBOW pajamas was waiting for me on the bed. Though my mom never spoke of it, I knew it was her way of saying that she loved & accepted me🥰

Asian cultures don’t typically show affection the same way as other cultures. Instead of saying, “I love you”, we cook for each other. Instead of a big hug, we often embrace each other with a soft glance & smile. While this gesture of rainbow pajamas may not seem like much, it meant the world to me & I know it took a lot of courage/resilience for my mom to do it✨

HUGE thank you to my incredible cast & crew for helping me bring this true story to life! This is, by far, the most personal piece that I’ve ever created. It was an absolute honor to be able to collaborate with a real-life family of actors and shoot the entire project in their family home🙏🏼

My new film project debuts NEXT WEEK🎬 In honor of AAPI heritage month❤️ Here’s some behind the scenes photos from set🙌🏼

We recreated my “coming out” story to my parents🏳️‍🌈 With a real-life family of actors! All shot in their actual family home🥰 How much more authentic can you get?

This is, by far, the most personal piece that I’ve ever created✨ So grateful to my incredible cast & crew! I was very intentional about only having AAPI team members on set, to bring representation both in front & behind the camera💯

It’s my 30th birthday today🎂🤯 The end of an era, but also the beginning of one🎉

A lot of mixed emotions…but mostly feeling grateful💗 Grateful to be alive. Grateful to have the privilege to do what I love & work towards my dreams every day. Grateful to be surrounded by the most incredible people & have the BEST support system ever.

I’ve never posted a photo/video dump before, but figured now would be an appropriate time😝 In 2025, I directed films, walked the red carpet, camera operated for the NBA, photographed A-list celebrities, wielded weapons, became a dog mom, jammed out, danced at raves/concerts, traveled internationally, explored in nature, & made a lot of memories with people I love🥰 This past year was incredible & I know that 2026 will be even better as I enter my 30s💯
