I love roadtrips! 🤍🚗

A most elegant new neighbour✨
I love the idea of having a cozy place at the stairwell, where the neighbours in Ollis house can sit and chat! Without pressure, only when it just feels right☕️☁️

❄️⛷️
When I was about 10y/o, a friend spend hours to teach me how to ski correctly (because my style was atrocious before). I remember us taking the chair lift Lärmstange and the anchor lift Kaserer over and over again, until I got it right.
For the numbers on the seats I chose 47 & 11, because they are the coordinates of the Hintertuxer Glacier — but apparently 4711 is also a name of Köllsch water?!😂

Painting memories is a safe space when many things change. I hope I can do a new calendar for 2027! My calendar for 2025 was also all based on memories and feelings — that’s also why the colours and perspectives are often distorted, it feels more surreal and dreamy this way — more like how memories feel to me.

December🦉❄️
What a year 2025 was. I’m so tired.
Thankful for all the experiences I made, the new palette of emotions I experienced, and excited for whatever will come next. But holy shit, I‘m tired.

Something a little different - I painted another scene from Septimus Heap, but this time from the second book, Flyte. It’s when Jenna escaped Simon in the Badlands. This moment, especially with the landscape description is still so vivid in my head!

I realised that I can paint anything in every format from every book I like. It doesn’t always need to be tied to one big project. And yes, learning proper anatomy is still on my bucket list🙈 It’s easy with a good reference, but without one I struggle.

August🚋🌊
September✨🚂

All three together, because for August I used an older painting which I‘ve already posted, and for September I was in such a rush painting it, it doesn’t feel finished.

I have a heavily romanticised view on laundromats and in my paintings I can paint how I see the world so I will continue to paint heavily romanticised scenarios😌

March💡🐠
This painting is based off of a childhood memory — it’s the view that I had from my bed, mixed with some imagination and dreams.
