Girl was literally made to dig and hunt but all she does is dig up our back yard and snort.

quick amateur animation i did this morning. based on looking for help where it is not.

september is suicide awareness month, i lost my dad and my own childhood to mental illness. know your 100% is different everyday, and you are still worthy of love the days you feel like nothing. know while the people who love you may be there to support you, they cannot fix you. you may feel broken, but just like your bones your brain still can heal. it’s okay to not be okay!

i have been experiencing depression since 7 years old, growing up with undiagnosed learning disabilities made me feel like i was not good enough. the genetic piece definitely didn’t help. by 10 years old i wanted to die. by 19 i had voluntarily admitted myself into the hospital 7 times for my struggles. when i was in highschool i wanted everyone to fix it for me, it wasn’t fair that my childhood was robbed by a chemical imbalance and i have to pick up the pieces. i was straining myself to just make it to school everyday. but honestly, i am proud of myself for doing what i did, even if i couldn’t compare to my peers.

now that i am about to be 20 im ready to leave behind the pain i carried in my childhood. i know who i am now, at least as much as an almost 20 year old can. and even though i still do often want to die, my want to live overpowers that. if you’re struggling, keep your head high. don’t make the mistake my dad did.

The european 4 in 1 chainmail weave is incredibly versatile. It was born from the celts, and found heavily in medieval battlefields. The european 4 in 1 is the chainmail weave that was commonly used for coifs, shirts, and full body protection. Now, this same fabric-like pattern is the essential weave for chainmail artists across the globe. Some of us create historically accurate pieces, while the rest take creative liberties and make jewelry and other projects. This is an art I’m happy to be keeping alive! 💕
