Yesterday, the master Philippe Gaulier passed away.

In 2018, I was lucky enough to spend a year under his teaching, in what was one of the most incredible and transformative experiences of my entire life.

I was taught countless things, but the most important lesson he ever taught me was that if there’s no joy in what you are doing, then there is no point at all.

And above everything else, my time at École Philippe Gaulier introduced me to so many people who are still my absolute favourite people and collaborators on the planet.

Whenever I meet someone who went to Gaulier, even if it was at a separate time to me, there’s a universal language we are all fluent in and find comfort in.

So a massive thank you to the people who helped shape me as a performer and as a human — and of course, Philippe 💙 by @ollie_woolf

In maybe the craziest thing I’ve ever posted…

THE PERIL AT PINCER POINT - directed by @jakelakuhn & @nhoast is having its WORLD PREMIERE at SXSW 2026.

The 3rd feature film by @thatsthefish

Starring the ridiculous @jackredmayne

Beyond lost for words, no one is more deserving of this honour than Jake & Noah - who have created a film the likes of which I’ve never seen.

A film made for nothing, made with friends. Proving that a lot can be achieved with very little.

See you at the movies in Austin @sxsw
