POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Origin story: In 2007, my art practice was born from writing. On a rainy day in Seattle, I came to a deep realization: I was unhappy and depressed. My journal confirmed it page after page. I was stuck, unable to see myself in the light of my true power and joy.

I broke free by making a conscious decision to trade daily journaling for daily drawing, returning to a simple pleasure I had known since childhood.

It transformed me. In that simplicity, I found the clarity to step into a new sense of self, one that has nourished me ever since. Art became my way of healing, and a tool for deep inquiry and self-actualization.

It’s easy to overlook the obvious: the familiar places within us that we’ve long since categorized and judged. Yet those are often the very places that hold our salvation in times of darkness.

Each of us carries the keys to unlocking our own joy and passion. We have only to revisit the parts of ourselves we’ve dismissed and forgotten.

I Dream Myself Alive (July 17 - Aug 2) @bfg.austin

I’m out here tapping into light, color, sound and movement. My roots. A place that comes from the void, the unified field, the cosmos.. home.

Taking a moment to celebrate last week’s opening, a moment of the profound synthesis of over a decade of my life’s work.

Thanks to everyone that came through, provided support and counsel, brought fresh insight and smiles, felt deeply into my field and to Austin Texas, a city calibrated to truly see and hold this vibe 🙏

HUGE shoutout to Talitha Newman and BFG for this opportunity!!!

The show closes next Sunday Aug 2nd. If you’d like to catch another visit or missed the opening, there are two more opportunities.

Sunday July 26: Guided Meditation from 12-1pm
Sunday Aug 2: Artist Talk from 2:30-3:30 (doors open at 2pm)

Over a decade of signals, forms, marks, and transmissions—assembled into one space. This show brings together many unseen and rarely shown works across drawing, print, painting, and digital media.

A collection emerges bridging past with present, marking my first year orbit around Austin, TX. The pieces draw from sculptural, musical, and architectural languages, tracing a through-line between the spiritual, energetic and the material worlds.

On Sunday July 26th, I led a guided meditation @bfg.austin as a part of my show, ‘I Dream Myself Alive’.

I led the group safely to and into the well of the void—a place of nothing and everything. A place where they were gently encouraged to envision a dream, something they wished to call into their lives and bring back with them into material consciousness.

There was a beautiful and miraculous silence that took over the room, most memorable, and it was an honor to host my first meditation with a group of lovely souls here in Austin, TX.

Thank you to BFG and @talithanewman for supporting this vision 🙏 taken in Blackfeather Vintage Works by @ollieglatzer

Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating I Dream Myself Alive. The gallery was filled with conversation, connection, music, and community.

Our sincere gratitude to Ollie for sharing this body of work, bringing together more than a decade of exploration across drawing, painting, printmaking, and digital media. The intention was to create a space that invited curiosity, presence, and the possibility of dreaming something alive within ourselves, and this intention was realized at the opening party ✨

Thank you to Choose Hellth and Eric Heaven for creating the perfect atmosphere through music, to Lola for assisting in the gallery, and to Jess and Pancho at Blackfeather Vintage for sponsoring drinks and helping make the evening happen.

Exhibition ends August 2nd. Gallery is open next Saturday from 12-5 and by appointment. Artist talk and closing is Sunday from 2-4.

Celebrating 500 days of consistent daily mantra-based meditation since January of 2025 🙏

This practice has changed my life. Something I have gained is a more finely tuned perception of my inner world and this has helped me to reorient myself towards a capacity for greater authenticity, healing, forgiveness, empowerment, positivity, health, success, love and deeper manifestations of my desires and dreams.

46,331 minutes of recorded meditation since 2016, using the Insight Timer app.

This stuff works ya’ll 😉
