Day 17 - Magical Transportation
Genuinely the music video of this song is an absolute treat totally recommend. I honestly think it's one of the things that got me to accept that line art wasn't for me and I enjoyed digital painting a helluva lot more💖

Was originally gonna do broom parking but then remembered I have free will and if I don't want to do the background I can get a new idea lol

Day 16 - Favorite Familiar
Gen almost forgot to upload this😅
Behold, a newt/lizard. The reference I used said it was ribbed newt though I can't find the picture anymore.
I like reptiles :>

Day 15 - Poisonous Plant
Forbidden rotten banana peel ☠️
These are supposed to be rosary peas. I couldn't really get a good shape I liked so I just ended up rolling with the banana peel shape 🌛
And as I'm using this challenge to get into daily drawing I'm not going to push myself to make entirely presentable pieces all the time lol. It can just be a banana peel :>

Day 14 - The Harvest Moon
A harvest mouse for the harvest moon🌛 (I know you can't even really see him but they are just that tiny)
An attempt was not made on the field but tbh I think it gets across well enough lol

Day 13 - Hidden Doorway
As I think should be expected after yesterday, Today's is very simple.
I'm so hecking tired, went to bed early, woke up early, stayed up a bit. went back to bed and woke up at regular time anyway💀
I don't think I'm burning out or anything just yet. Irl is just a bit hard atm. I'll be back tomorrow 🌛

Day 12 - Twisted Tea Party
I had such a clear vision for this one that I actually started this a few days in advance– 🌛
Trying to paint the human face remains a special kind of hell, but I think this time it actually came out more decent :>
(Can you tell I had fun with the rendering to make up for it? lol)

Day 11 - Haunted Reflection
I suppose this could technically be an entry into my Things I see in my house at night series of paintings.
Because these two ladies actually live in my bathroom mirrors🌛
Supposedly having mirrors face each other is a big no on the paranormal side of things. but the one time my family tried to take one of them down the whole room felt wrong until we put it back up.
I think they just like talking to each other :>

Day 10 - Wishing well
I spent way too long on this one lol
I half don't even wanna post the speed paint because I spent most of the time on animals that I ended up cutting out because I didn't like how they looked🙃

Oh well.🌛

Day 9 - Garden Statue
Duck.
Was originally gonna do an owl, maybe gnomes, maybe even a bonus cat.
Then I looked for reference images and was reminded of the humble duck statue. 🌛

Day 8 - Nature Reclaim
I knew I wanted to do an abandoned building from the start, the little cryptid was a welcome addition though :>
Onto week 2!

So after learning I know how to draw mouths/teeth I decided to try again and
I think I figured it out lol
As for lore tidbits...
I feel like Chi got sick of getting asked why they cover their mouth so much. then someone asked them to smile and they decided to give their most unhinged smile to ward them off.
I think it worked 💀

Day 7 - Bouquet of Flowers
Honestly I'm not too happy with this one :'>
I woke up super late again(my sleep schedule is a mess at the best of times) and had like an hour to do this😅
