Congratulations to Year 9 students Maci, who placed 2nd, and Molly, who placed 3rd in the 2026 Catholic Earthcare 'Season of Creation' Art Competition! With more than 900 students participating, this year’s theme, 'Living Water', invited students to celebrate the beauty of creation and reflect on the importance of caring for our common home. A fantastic achievement, girls! We are so proud of you! #OLMCParramatta #CourageousAdvocates by @olmc_parramatta

Our student leaders recently gathered at Mercy Catholic College Chatswood for the Mercy 5 Leadership Presentation, exploring what it means to weave the Threads of Mercy into their leadership. Mercy 5 brings together students and staff from Sydney’s five Mercy schools, fostering connections through shared values, faith and a commitment to making a positive difference in the community. It was a wonderful opportunity for our leaders to connect with students from other Mercy schools, share experiences and reflect on how they can continue to live out the Mercy tradition through their leadership. #OLMCParramatta #CourageousAdvocates The College has introduced changes to how student photography is captured, managed and shared online, prioritising student privacy, safety and the protection of their digital identity. by @olmc_parramatta
Congratulations to Chloe, Year 9, who has been awarded 2nd place in the Year 9 & 10 category of Wollongong Art Gallery’s 'What We Carry' Student Photography Competition! Her photograph, 'I Carry Her With Me', explores the connection between childhood memories and personal identity, reflecting on how our past shapes who we become. Chloe shares the inspiration behind her work: “My photograph, 'I Carry Her With Me', explores the connection between childhood memories and personal identity. I was inspired by the idea that although we grow and change, our younger selves remain a part of who we are. Through layered photographs, fragmented reflections and images of my childhood, I wanted to visually represent how our past experiences shape the people we become. This photograph is particularly meaningful to me because it reflects my own journey of growing up while still carrying the memories and experiences of my younger self.” Congratulations, Chloe, on this wonderful achievement! #OLMCParramatta #CourageousAdvocates #LimitlessPossibilities by @olmc_parramatta
Year 9 students spent three action-packed days at Collaroy, building confidence, resilience and friendships through a range of exciting activities including abseiling, the giant swing, archery, laser tag, initiatives and orienteering. A key focus of the camp was leadership, with students participating in workshops to prepare them for their future role as the Big Sisters of our 2027 Year 7 cohort. These sessions encouraged reflection on the qualities of positive leadership, mentoring and service to others. The camp was a wonderful opportunity for our students to grow, connect and develop the skills that will help them become outstanding leaders within our school community. #OLMCParamatta #CourageousAdvocates #LimitlessPossibilities The College has introduced changes to how student photography is captured, managed and shared online, prioritising student privacy, safety and the protection of their digital identity. by @olmc_parramatta
