I finally got a pair of these bois from the movie: King Kong VS Godzilla 1962!!

This is great stuff because soft vinyl figures at this scale are extremely hard to find beyond these 2 guys! Especially the Kong, since there are not many official figures made of his 1962 appearance.

The last 3 pictures show the suits that were seen in the film and where the sculpts are based upon.

They were purchased directly from @ymsf3 Check out his page for more kaiju vinyls.

Too bad that just ONE number was wrong in the postal code, everything else was absolutely correct. And STILL the postal office fucked up and sent it to some address next to my town (luckily not somewhere on the other side of the country).

I am veeeeery happy with these fantastic vinyls and well worth the trouble.

Sooooo I got this set of figures known as the "Godzilla Press Conference" set. It is a set of small figures that publicly apologize to japan for their destruction. Amuzingly enough, Hedorah (the black monster with the red eyes on the right) is not bowing down because he does not regret anything.

I got this set for extremely cheap. And i mean extremely cheap! I later found out after purchasing them what people ask for them on eBay...

I do absolutrely love these figures and I am beyond fortunate to own these guys for the price that I paid.

About a year ago (on june 28th 2019) i made a post about a NECA (an American toy company) Godzilla figure of the 1962 design. But today I received my long awaited Bandai S.H.Monsterarts version (made by a Japanese company).

It is among the most beautiful and well sculpted of Godzilla figures I have ever seen! Definitely one of my favourite designs for Godzilla out of all of them It is so damn accurate to his look in King Kong vs Godzilla from 1962.

I got rid of my NECA version since I started collecting figures from this line. It is just that much better!

The figure has an amazing paintjob, sculpt, good articulation and very nice transparent amber coloured eyes!

The pricing is a whole lot more expensive than the NECA version. Over a hundred Euros. But it is a Premium release that was also a web exclusive.

I am extremely happy with this figure and truly shows the craftmanship and effort the Japanese designers have put into it

I totally forgot I already bought some of these Gundam G Frame figures before!

So I gave this Zaku II the same treatment as the Ground Type Gundam from last post.

I also painted his Heat Hawk a bit with yellow and orange paint to make look like when it is glowing in the anime.

Again I got this figure a while back at @spaceoddityamsterdam as well!

If you put some work in these guys they can be absolutely fantastic!

Panel lined and topcoated (matte) this Bandai G Frame Gundam Ground Type candy toy (it came with pieces of gum).

A pretty cute little figure from Japan. I like him a lot.

I got from @spaceoddityamsterdam. Get your vintage and rare japanese toys over there! Check em out!

I recently acquired one of my holy grails in my collection. As most of you probably know I absolutely ADORE Godzilla.
This figure is the S.H.Monsterarts King Ghidorah made by Tamashii Nation from Bandai based on the movie Godzilla vs King Ghidorah from 1991! Not the best in the movie series but it's my favorite design of this alien dragon.
He is coated in a nice shiny golden paintjob. With very well articulated necks and tails. He also comes with a stand to balance his "Grabity Beams" on, which are lightning bolts.

Best thing of all I bought him new sealed for just 150 euros! Which is a steal for this figure since it goed for twice as much or even more new sealed!
I read online that the wings can be fragile, so I'm going to be carefull with them.

This piece reminds me so well why I love collecting action figures and other collectibles.
