How often do we say the name of Jesus as an exclamation without pausing to remember the power and reverence attached to that name?

Proverbs 18:10 says, “The name of the LORD is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe.”

And Philippians 2:10–11 reminds us that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.

Sis, His name is more than an expression we use when we’re surprised, frustrated, or overwhelmed. It is a name we can call upon in faith.

When you’re confused, call on Jesus.
When anxiety overwhelms you, call on Jesus.
When you’re worried about your children, call on Jesus.
When doubt creeps in and you don’t know what to do, call on Jesus.

Not as an empty repetition, but with faith, reverence, and a heart that turns toward Him.

Don’t just use His name to express your emotions. Remember that you can call upon Him in the middle of them. 🤎

This Monday, may we become more intentional about calling on the name of Jesus—not just with our lips, but with our hearts.

Day 10/30
Your makeup routine starts before you even pick up your foundation!

Here’s my simple skin-prep routine to help create a smooth base for makeup:

1. Cleanse your face and gently pat it dry.
2. Apply under-eye cream using gentle tapping motions instead of rubbing the delicate skin around your eyes.
3. Moisturize the rest of your face to help keep your skin hydrated.
4. Apply face primer in thin layers, especially if you’re using a thicker formula. I avoid applying this primer under my eyes because I want to keep that area from feeling overloaded with product and help minimize creasing when I apply my under-eye makeup.

Remember, good skin prep can make a difference in how your makeup sits and wears throughout the day. ✨

🎥 My 30th Wedding — Bimbo Ademoye and Timini Egbuson made the story feel relatable, warm, and effortlessly cozy to watch.

🎥 The Rip — Suspense, psychological tension, and a reminder that understanding human behavior can be just as important as knowing the facts.

🎥 Animals — A complicated story about marriage, betrayal, forgiveness, and what two people can attempt to rebuild when they choose to work together.

🎥 Why Did I Get Married Again? — One lesson that stayed with me: parents being honest about their past mistakes can help their children recognize patterns they don’t have to repeat.

🎥 Doing Life — A warm reminder that character and integrity matter, but so does the willingness to change. Your past doesn’t have to dictate the person you become.

What I love most about stories like these is that they give us something to think about beyond the screen: how we love, how we choose, how we treat people, and how we grow.

Because sometimes, you’re not just watching a movie. You’re learning something about life, too. 👀

KINGDOM MINDSET MONDAY 🤎 | PRAISE IS A MULTIPLIER

Good morning, Becoming Tribe! 🌿

As the year progresses, some of us are carrying unresolved expectations. Things we prayed for haven’t happened yet. Goals we set remain unfinished. And honestly, it can be overwhelming.

But while we acknowledge what is yet to happen, let us not forget what God has already done.

Psalm 67:5–6 reminds us to praise God, connecting that praise with the earth yielding its increase.

Praise doesn’t mean pretending you’re not disappointed. It means disappointment doesn’t get to erase your gratitude.

Ecclesiastes 9:4 reminds us that there is hope for the living. So, while we’re still here, let’s keep praying, keep working, keep trusting, and keep giving thanks.

An unfinished expectation is not the whole story of your year.

This week, choose gratitude. Not because everything has happened according to plan, but because you can still recognize God’s goodness in the middle of the process.

Day 7/30
Come with me as I reflect on one of the experiences that’s shaping my UGC journey.

I attended the Tony Media Guest Masterclass, and one thing I appreciated was how much I could take away from the session as a creator still learning and growing.

There are three lessons that stood out to me

What matters to me isn’t just learning these things. It’s actually putting them into practice, testing what works, and improving with every video I create.
