I was forgiven. But I still lost the opportunity.

That was one of the hardest lessons I had to learn.

Sometimes we talk about God’s mercy; and rightly so.
God forgives. God restores. God gives grace.

📌But forgiveness doesn’t always mean consequence-free.

In Exodus 32, Moses interceded for Israel after the golden calf. God agreed to continue leading them, yet He also said He would visit their sin upon them.

Mercy was present.
But consequences were still real.

I learned that personally.

God did more in my life afterward. He restored me in ways I could never have imagined. But that particular opportunity I lost?
It did not come back.

And I’ve learned not to presume that because God can restore, He will necessarily restore the exact thing I lost.
He may (mercy can do it all), and He may not, God is sovereign. 🙌🏾

So if God is asking you to obey something today, don’t wait until you’ve lost something to discover its value.

Ancestral bondage must die!

Some battles seem to run through generations. But your family history does not have to dictate the pattern you perpetuate.

📖 “For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.” (1 Corinthians 3:11)

Beloved, Christ is your foundation. You are redeemed through His blood. It is time to cry out and exercise the victory given in the finished work of Christ. Learn to stand in His victory, resist the enemy, and refuse to perpetuate destructive patterns.

Declare it;
🔥 MY GENERATION WILL HAVE A DIFFERENT TESTIMONY!

If this message speaks to you, share it with someone who needs this reminder.

Life is truly fragile. The saints are departing, being called home to be with the Lord, and we are reminded that none of us is here forever.

May we never become so consumed with the affairs of this world that we forget what truly matters.

May we live each day to the glory of God, faithfully fulfilling our assignments and serving Him wholeheartedly, so that whenever the Master calls, we may be found faithful.

May we hear those precious words: “Well done, good and faithful servant.” (Matthew 25:21)

Lord, grant us grace to live our full days, fulfil our assignments, and finish our race faithfully in Christ Jesus. In Jesus’ name. Amen.🙏🏽

Sometimes God prevents the fire. Sometimes He meets you in it. And sometimes, the opportunity really may be lost.

Whatever the outcome, remain faithful.

An excerpt from WIS Conversations #001.

And now, we’re asking another question…

‼️WIS QUESTION #002: Can you succeed at the wrong thing?

I’d love to hear your perspective. Send me a DM, voice note or short video.

Beloved, remember what Christ has done for you. ❤️

The record that stood against us was nailed to His cross.

Don’t let condemnation make you forget the power of His finished work.

📖 Colossians 2:14

Take a moment. Reflect on the cross. Walk in the truth of what Christ has accomplished.

Whatsoever Christ has finished has no right over you, believe and exercise this authority.

Not every voice deserves your agreement.

Someone can tell you, “You won’t get it.”
Your circumstances can say, “Give up.”
Repeated rejection can make you believe, “Maybe this just isn’t for me.”

But what happens when the voice speaking to you contradicts the Word of God?

You don’t have to agree with it.

📌”Take counsel together, and it shall come to nought; speak the word, and it shall not stand.”
— Isaiah 8:10

So pray this with me:
🔥 I reject every evil report over my life, in Jesus’ name.
🔥 Every voice speaking failure, defeat and hopelessness over me, I reject it.
🔥 I will hear the voice of my Shepherd, and the voice of a stranger I will not follow.

“WIS QUESTION #002”

CAN YOU SUCCEED AT THE WRONG THING?”

You got the job.
You made the money.
You built the business.
You gained the recognition.

But… what if you succeeded at something you were never meant to build?

What if the problem isn’t that you’re failing, but that you’re moving in the wrong direction?

And what if you’re actually doing the right thing, but you’re just being asked to “wait”?

This conversation can go in many directions.

So we’re asking *YOU*

👉 What does real success mean to you?
👉 Can someone succeed at the wrong thing?
👉 Have you ever achieved something and later realized it wasn’t what you truly wanted?
👉 Can waiting be part of success?

#Don’t give us the “perfect” answer. Give us YOUR perspective.**

🎙️ Send a voice note
📹 Send a short video
💬 Or simply DM your thoughts/story

Your response could become part of “WIS Conversations #002.”

And sometimes, we become so focused on the cost of obeying that we forget to ask what disobedience might cost us.

So here’s the question I’m leaving with you:
If both come with a cost, which one leads to life?

Sometimes obedience leaves you with less.

And sometimes, the people who chose differently seem to be doing better.

What do you do then?
Would you still choose integrity if you didn’t know what would come next?

What would obedience cost me?

Maybe that’s not the only question.
What would disobedience cost me?

And what do you do when obedience leaves you with less, while those who chose differently seem to be doing better?
If both come with a cost, which one leads to life?

God didn’t put you there just to exist.

In Genesis 1:14–15, God created the lights and gave them an assignment:

to give light upon the earth.

That made me pause.

The lights had a place.
They had a purpose.
And they were expected to fulfill their function.

So what about you?

Where has God placed you?

Your workplace.
Your family.
Your business.
Your ministry.
Your school.
Your current season.

Don’t just occupy the space.

Give light there.

Bring wisdom.
Bring excellence.
Bring God’s character.
Bring what He has put inside you.

And maybe the prayer isn’t only:

“Lord, take me somewhere better.”

Maybe sometimes it’s:

“Lord, help me shine where You have already placed me.”

📖 Genesis 1:14–15
