I was blessed to be in DC to help celebrate my mom’s 75th birthday this past weekend and it was an incredibly special occasion. Time is one of our most precious gifts and I am fortune to have been able to spend some time with her and my family. Seven out of her eight children were present alongside fifteen of her seventeen grandchildren. One of the many highlights was when we had an opportunity to literally display the promise of Proverbs 31:28 by having everyone who considered her to be a maternal figure to stand at once (and together) and call her “Blessed.” Grateful to God for this opportunity. 🙏🏾🤲🏾🙌🏾

People who know me know I read all@the time— and most of what I consume are books on Leadership, Change, Communication and overall how to be a better human. I also love a good thriller/spy/political novel as well. I’ve read every single Jack Reacher novel (Lee Child and later Andrew Child), nearly every David Baldacci novel (in 2025) and so far I’ve read all 24 books in the #VinceFlynn #MitchRapp series since January. I’m currently finishing #Supercommunicators by @charlesduhigg and will follow that up with #LearningtoDisagree by @john.inazu and then #TheRighteousMind by @jonathanhaidt . I’m well on my way to eclipsing my goal of reading 52 books this year. 🤓🙌🏾 next time you see me, feel free to ask me what I’m reading. by @olumination
