BLACK HISTORY FOR EVERY DAY OF THE YEAR ✊🏾🌍

What if Black history was not just something we learned about during Black History Month, but something we explored every single day of the year?

Black History for Every Day of the Year is a powerful and engaging collection that brings Black history to life through stories, facts and remarkable people whose contributions deserve to be remembered.

From trailblazers and freedom fighters to artists, activists, scientists and cultural icons, this book shines a light on the people and events that have shaped our world, while challenging the idea that Black history begins and ends with slavery.

What I particularly love about this book is its format. With a different historical story for every day of the year, it makes learning accessible, engaging and easy to incorporate into everyday life.

As someone passionate about representation and making history more inclusive, I believe this is an essential addition to homes, schools and libraries.

Because Black history is not a footnote. It is world history. And it deserves to be celebrated, taught and remembered every day.

A little awards news 🏆 Delighted to share that two brilliant pieces of work we’ve been part of have picked up wins at the 2026 CRESTA Awards!
🥪 Hellmann’s “Official Mayonnaise of Sandwich” took home two Bronze awards. Earlier this year, UEG brought together and managed chef @dinnerbyben historian @olusoga and food historian @dranniegray to recreate the very first sandwich from 1762 – as it may have been eaten by the Earl of Sandwich himself. All part of @hellmannsuk mission to put Sandwich, Kent, firmly back on the map (and mayonnaise firmly where it belongs…).
🖨️ HP’s “The Little Printer That Printed Its Own Billboard” picked up Silver in Print & OOH, as well as Bronze in the Media Magic Award. UEG secured Alexander Armstrong as the campaign’s hero talent and developed the creative for Alexander’s social films supporting the campaign.
Very proud to have played a part in bringing both of these ideas to life – and even nicer to see them getting some shiny recognition. 🥉🥉🥉🥈

THE FIRST EVER SANDWICH 🥪 AD

Follow me as I try to replicate the first ever sandwich from 1762 with @hellmansuk and try and put the little town of Sandwich in Kent, back on the map. I’ve recipe tested, chatted to historians David Olusoga and Annie Gray, travelled far and wide, it’s one of the toughest challenges I’ve faced in the kitchen, but I reckon we did a pretty good job.
