#ad Thanks @hobbycrafthq for sending over these goodies, I haven’t put pencil to paper in a while, but it was fun getting back into it ✏️✨

It’s Black History Month, and today’s drawing is Little Simz 🎤

From early mixtapes to award-winning albums like Sometimes I Might Be Introvert, the rapper, actor, and creative powerhouse from North London has become one of the most distinctive voices in British music

Ijó, Egwu or Rawa, whatever you call it; dance plays an important role in the lives of Nigerians and fellow Africans across the diaspora.
Whether at home, as part of social gatherings or concerts, dance can be seen as a marker of one's personal identity and links to one's culture and traditions, and always finds expression even miles away from the motherland.

SWIPE THROUGH...Painting Iris :)

Painted the wonderful @irisrvt this month, been challenging myself to paint outside of my photorealism comfort zone, so happy with how this more cartoony style turned
out. 😊✨

The pray and hope stage 🙏🏿

Noticing all the mistakes 🙃

Overcorrecting just a little bit 😬

Finally happy 😊

Getting the colours down 🎨

Refusing to commit with the darks and lights 🫠

Finally committing…

Time for highlights!

Even more highlight and shadows

Giving some attention to the details ✨

Almost there…
