“stay tuned!” 🎤🛸✨🚀maybe you know her game, or perhaps you recognise her from sonic & sega all-stars racing, but i had such a blast debuting my ulala cosplay at PAX a couple of weeks ago!while very different from and more niche than my usual cosplays (read: vibrant, bright, obnoxious to the eye, etc), i saw this beautiful orange lycra fabric at the store and the colour reminded me of ulala and i knew i just HAD to make the cosplay!!!i took plenty of creative liberties, but i think it turned out being so uniquely mine! with the headset and microphone, there are ~5000 diamontes in this cosplay! i fear we need to bring back bedazzling, it’s surprisingly therapeutic 😋🌐 ulala🎮 space channel 5📸 @lumina_lightworks — i had a blast having a shoot with you that was VERY different than what we usually pull off, HAHA!! thank you, as always!!#spacechannel5 #ulala #ulalacosplay #dreamcast #cosplay #spacechannel5cosplay by @olytheia

Words alone can’t possibly encompass the excitement and joy of attending the world premiere of ‘HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON 2: IN CONCERT’, performed by The Sydney Symphony Orchestra and Sydney Philharmonia Choir. Not only did I get to experience the phenomenal performances, but I also had the tremendous honour of cosplaying as Astrid to talk to and take photos with guests in the foyer of the magnificent Sydney Opera House!As someone who has been a fan of the magical world of Berk and those who inhabit it (human and reptile alike) for many years, to say this was an experience of dreams for me would be an understatement. Being able to feel and bask in the love and passion from everyone involved is a feeling I’ll never forget. Hearing @johnj_powell’s score live was positively transcendent and was performed so beautifully by the infinite talent of the @sydneysymphonyorchestra and the hauntingly captivating voices of the @sydney.philharmonia! I adored having the opportunity to chat to some of them backstage, who were equally excited to see us cosplayers as we were about them! Talking to other audience members before the shows was a highlight for me, because HTTYD is a franchise so beloved by people of all ages. People shared how impactful it had been, imparted tales of how it has brought them happiness and connections to others, were celebrating special occasions together with something that means a lot to them, as well as bringing along loved ones who had never seen it before (one of whom ran to me at the end of a show, since we’d spoken beforehand, to tell me that it was one of the best experiences of their life!)… all of this to say, the room was filled with a warmth, energy and love that I can’t accurately encapsulate in writing!To the gang: @snips.n.stripes, @dragonjerky_cos and @mystia.cosplays/@howtotrainyourdragonnews_, it was a colossal delight to laugh and create these lifelong memories with you! Until our next adventure together! 🐉I owe my thanks to all the people that made this happen— this is an experience I’m going to cherish having been a part of for the rest of my life.
