May food dump 🍞🍝

Ate well, cooked a lot and spent a lot of time with mum & dad. A good way to spend the month before heading off for a bit!!

next dump = europe

1. sourdough cross section (white x wholemeal loaf)
2. pizza night! putting my pizza maker to good use again, nearly perfected it
3. @youkneadsourdough bread box… perfect for the cold weather & proofing dough
4. pasta bake meal prep!
5. “meat tree” at @arkhe_restaurant tasting australia event
6. earl grey oats @thegatorclub.adl
7. bbq sauce taste test with nuggets (ps the grill’s bbq sauce is not worth the hype)
8. tried persimmons for the first time… i’ve been missing out
9. cinnamon & raisin sourdough (perfect pre workout)

11. overnight weetbix obsession returned
12. dinner at @kiinrestaurant with mum & dad — lobster pasta & roti

One of my favourite restaurants in Adelaide, arkhé absolutely delivered again for Tasting Australia last weekend with their collaboration dinner with Restaurang AG.

The menu started strong with the Flintstone bone, followed by the incredible meat tree. Then came the corn chawanmushi with oyster chicken XO. Easily one of the standout dishes of the night.

But the main course completely stole the show:
10/10 80-day dry aged whisky tallow Mayura Wagyu rib eye with maitake mushroom, roasted yeast and pine nut, served alongside an autumn salad. Absolutely unreal.

Desserts weren’t pictured because they were far too hard to resist.

The food was amazing from start to finish, and the Henschke wine pairing was the perfect addition to an already incredible experience.

Spent April cooking, having good eats & somehow creating an aggressive amount of dishes along the way. A few comfort meals, kitchen experiments & current food obsessions lately.

1. Apple pie for dad 🤍
2. Sweet potato brownies that actually slapped
3. Deep in my Ninja Creami moment + testing new flavours before winter hibernation
4. Lazy dinner nights featuring the new plates
5. Burrito bowl nights forever
6. Smoothie bowl artistry at this point
7. Hosting pizza night & finally using the pizza maker properly. sourdough bases of course 🍕
8. Current brekky hyper-fixation
9. Easy lunch rotations thanks to @froproaus
10. Evening snack plate tradition

Current brekky hyper fixation…… “cinnamon scroll” crumpets

simple, high protein & yummy 🤤

2 wholemeal @golden.crumpets , toasted with a bit of butter or pb on the base

mix vanilla chobani fit @chobaniau + @nakedharvestsupplements caramel biscuit protein powder + cinnamon & spread that on top

extra cinnamon, then a drizzle of whatever you’re feeling biscoff, pistachio spread or more pb! @pistachiopapiofficial @biscoff.au
