Pandavaas has been one of those names that keeps Uttarakhand’s culture alive and takes our pahadi identity to the world. Even with migration changing the hills, they’ve continued building their work from Uttarakhand and speaking up for the culture they come from.

For the 38th National Games, Pandavaas created “Halla Dhoom Dhadakka” and also performed during the Games. According to their recent appeal, the payment for the work is still pending even after around 20–21 months. They have now raised the matter through a letter to the concerned authorities and the Chief Minister.

Artists who carry our culture forward deserve to be heard, and hopefully this matter gets resolved soon.

College elections should be about students, not party politics. Students should look at the candidate’s character, mindset, work and commitment to the college — not simply which organisation or party they represent. The person you choose should work for the students and the college, not for a political party. At the end of the day, choose the student, not the party.

Badrinath is not just a tourist destination; it is one of the most sacred religious places in Uttarakhand.

I have always supported and appreciated our local artists, and they absolutely deserve more platforms. But when it comes to sacred places, we also need to understand their spiritual and cultural significance and act accordingly. Tourism and cultural promotion are important, but not at the cost of the sanctity, identity and traditions of Devbhoomi. This is not against any artist — it is simply a concern about how we treat our sacred places.

A disturbing incident in Jamui, Bihar has once again raised a bigger question about our mindset. Instead of questioning the people who harassed the girl, some are questioning why she was outside after 7 PM. No time, place or clothing gives anyone the right to harass another person. We need to change this mindset first.

Jamui, Bihar: A Class 10 girl and her male friend were allegedly harassed and assaulted by a group of men.

The main accused, Nandan Yadav, was arrested after a police encounter in which he suffered a bullet injury to his leg. Another accused was also arrested and injured while trying to escape.

Police have also taken action against people who circulated the video and revealed the minor’s identity. An SIT is investigating the case.

Gen Z is definitely changing the campus vibe. 👀

From Delhi to Punjab, Mangaluru to Kerala — ABVP has had a series of notable wins in student politics.

📍 Delhi University — ABVP won 3 out of 4 central posts, including President, Secretary and Joint Secretary.

📍 Panjab University — ABVP retained the President’s post for the second consecutive year.

📍 Mangaluru — ABVP-backed candidates won all 37 out of 37 Students’ Union posts.

📍 Kerala — At Government Sanskrit College, Tripunithura, ABVP secured all 12 student union posts unopposed, with no other student organisation filing nominations.

Different campuses, different contests, but one thing is clear — the student politics scene is changing.

And after all of this… just look at the celebration! 🥁🚩

Vaani Kapoor brought the Bollywood glamour, but what I loved the most was seeing our own Uttarakhand artists on the same stage. ❤️

Inder Arya, Karishma Shah, Ruhaan Bhardwaj, Manju Nautiyal, Ajju Tomar & Ajay Chauhan — bringing the pahadi vibe to the UPL opening ceremony.

People dancing to our pahadi songs in a packed stadium… that’s the kind of representation that feels special. 🏔️❤️

UPL 2026 wasn’t just about cricket, it also felt like a celebration of Uttarakhand’s culture.
