where do you go
if not to the people you love?

you’re home.
but it feels more like home
when they’re there, too.

you sit around the table,
playing a board game.

you pass out on the sofa,
and now, there’s a video
of you snoring
on someone’s phone.

you talk for an hour,
and bro drops some life-changing banger.

you know, so much of the joy
was in these little things.
and the people who
made home… homely.
