From samples to verses, from Bollywood to boom bap - this was something else. A first-of-its-kind AfterHours set at Blockheads, packed with energy, experimentation, and immaculate vibes all night long. Shail and Om (Jad Buddhi) set the stage on fire: flipping samples, bending genres, and turning AfterHours into pure chaos (the good kind).

If you missed this one, don’t worry-
another AfterHours is coming up on the 9th January.

From Sample to Song Shail is a London-based rapper/producer from Ahmedabad who blends storytelling and incisive lyricism with lush, sample-heavy instrumentals.

Catch him live at Blockheads, taking you on a journey from sample to song, as well as testing the limits of experimentation, blending Bollywood songs with classic hip-hop verses.
