The fish of a lifetime! 70cm 5.5kg an astonishing 1.6 in condition! 🚀

After a successful fishing contest “Seatrout Open 2025 🇩🇰” with plenty of fish over the minimum size, I still had a serious case of fishing fever, so I pushed for an early finish from work as the conditions at my local spot were absolutely perfect. It turned out to be the right decision.

After just 15 minutes of fishing with an 18-gram snurrebassen in silver, I suddenly felt a heavy, deep take. I had no doubt that it was a fish of good size!

After a couple of long runs back and forth, I finally managed to tire the fish out and get it into the net. It turned out to be the fish of a lifetime!

70 cm long, and an incredible 5.5 kg — a flawless, silver bomb! 🫡

You simply can’t do anything but love sea trout fishing.

Second Autumn seatrout with size in 2026 🎣

Autumn is definitely my favorite season when it comes to seatrout fishing in Denmark. The colder water, changing conditions and aggressive fish make this time of year something special. There’s just something about chasing sea trout along the Danish coastline in autumn. 🍂🌊

As a little bonus i won the raffle of the contest 😊

Big thanks to Troels/@searunflyfish for hosting the contest 🎣

3 days of twilight fishing at Stevns, from 6–10 PM, produced these two beautiful, hard-fighting summer sea trout at 67 cm and 60 cm, along with several smaller fish above the minimum size.

They were caught on a 23 g tobis imitation in natural colors, fished way out at the end of the cast.

There are plenty of sea trout out there right now, so if you want some incredible fishing, it’s definitely time to get out there! 😊
