Mustafa’s Song and Our Video [Gaza is Calling] is Now Live!

“Those who haven’t thanked the people have not thanked God.” I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to work on this project and for Mustafa, who brought together so many Palestinians and non-Palestinians to complete this project. Alhamdulilah, feeling blessed to be part of a project that united this group under one roof. I am incredibly thankful to my co-producers, whose support was invaluable.

Special Thanks:

• Nora Mohamed (@noratheexlplorer): Thank you for all the hours you put into this project.
• Bella Hadid (@bellahadid): Thank you for being so engaged and plugged in despite your own personal hardships.
• Ramy Youssef (@ramy): Thank you for your invaluable guidance.
• Mona Mekkawi (@monamekkawi) and the Production Design Team: Thank you for creating a set that felt like home.
• Sakir Khader (@sakirkhader): Thank you for co-directing and playing such a crucial role in the completion of this video. Your work in Jineen despite the tough circumstances was vital.

[Name of God] is now live.

Guided by Mustafa Ahmed’s direction, this piece delves into the intersections of love, pain, memory, and faith. It’s a vehicle that drives us to reflect. The song beautifully nudges us toward our connection with God. Co-producer Nafeesa Ahmed’s commitment to this film was the golden seal. Remembering Mohamed, may Allah elevate him to the highest ranks of paradise, and may this loss serve as your family’s testament to an abundantly rewarded patience 🤍

Director: Mustafa Ahmed
Editor, Colourist, Curator: Reed King Bee

Deep gratitude for every soul that contributed on this journey. 🫡

the power is in our voices, let’s continue to unmute ourselves, rebel against apartheid, create conversations, and raise our flags higher than ever before.

We are closer to a free Palestine than we've ever seen. Please continue to share and advocate.
