Sahel cycling 🚴‍♂️ made to move 🔥

For every mural I create
I produce a short film documenting the process Painting on buildings 600 meters or taller working in such a vast, open space presents a massive challenge; by comparison, quickly spraying graffiti on a small wall while standing on the ground feels like mere child’s play something anyone could do. Scaling up a sketch to fit these colossal structures is a tremendous undertaking, yet it is an experience from which I learn something new every single day

It adds to my experience in street art and graffiti, as you face numerous mental and physical challenges. It starts with the task of controlling heavy machinery like a boom lift, which I view simply as a paintbrush or a pen; from a distance, you see it moving across that massive surface, sketching, coloring, and building details over a vast expanse. It looks easy from the ground, but once you go up and find yourself in the middle of that colossal space, you realize you are literally just a drop in the ocean. That is where the real challenge lies

First, consider how to scale a sketch originally drawn on an A4 sheet to fit a wall that might span over 400 meters in length and width. This is where mental effort comes into play: you establish imaginary guidelines, build your sketch upon them, and ensure the proportions align correctly with the vast space. Then, you begin the process of coloring and finishing a stage where the skills and experience you have accumulated over time truly shine, having evolved step by step from small walls to massive structures visible from highways and distant public squares.

Urban street art on building facades has transcended ordinary art; it has become a major discipline offering immense value to the fields of street art and graffiti, and it is now proliferating rapidly across the globe
