A few months ago, our lives changed in an instant. We watched our mom collapse and become completely unresponsive. Those moments felt endless as we waited for the medics to arrive. I remember feeling completely helpless, making dua and asking Allah to save her and give us more time with her. By The Mercy of Allah Swt, she survived. Today, our mother continues to fight through the effects of the brain injury she got from the incident. She is undergoing treatment and physical therapy every day, working to regain her strength, mobility, and independence. While we are grateful for every step of progress she makes, her recovery is expected to be long and challenging, and she may require ongoing care for years to come. Our mother is the heart and soul of our family. As a mother of eight children, she spent her life putting others before herself. She worked tirelessly, cared for our home, cooked for us, comforted us, and showed us unconditional love every single day. She was the person who held our family together through every hardship. Watching someone who devoted her life to caring for others suddenly become dependent on others for care has been incredibly painful. The woman who once carried so much for our family is now facing a battle she never expected. As her children, we are doing everything we can to support her recovery and provide the care she deserves. However, the financial burden has become overwhelming. We created this Gofundme to help ease that burden and aid our family during this difficult time so we can focus on what matters most: helping our mother heal with dignity, comfort, and support.
