Dear Connor,
From the day I met you in 8th Grade outside of Thomas’s moms house throwing the football in the street I could instantly tell there was something different about you. From the way that you walked, the way you talked and just the way you carried yourself from day to day. I didn’t know it that day that you would become one of my brothers and make such a big impact on my life. That fiery competitiveness and drive that you always had about your self that made You who you are and it carried over into everything that you did. Whether it was playing a round of golf for fun that felt like we were on the PGA tour or a late night poker match felt like we were playing on the poker world tour. You helped me grow as a person and help me think from a different perspective In a way that I never thought about before. You were always a person I could call late at night when I needed anything and you always picked up. To know how close you were with the Lord brings me comfort to know you are up there with Him trying to get a hole in one on a Par 3. I will never truly understand why this is all happening and I probably never will. You were the true definition of a Real Friend and a Brother. From late night car rides talking about life to mid day surf sessions where we talked and paddled around more than we caught waves. You were always able to make Me and the people around you laugh. I’m going to all of our beach trips and late night in n out runs and I’m going to miss all the debates and arguments that we would have over why the Broncos were the best team in the AFC west. Mannn I don’t even know where to start… I just wanna thank all of my teammates and Coaches who made my last 4 years possible. High school Football has brought ups and Downs but through it all I have learned lessons that I will carry with me through out my life. Forever grateful for the opportunity to play.
