Maskmaker based in USA. Probably too expensive. Not interested in politics or religion, thanks.

Making a mask for an extreme athlete hiker/biker. These trees were a bit of a challenging detail. 🌲 🌲 by @omegamasks

Did my duty today. Let’s see if we can get rid of the @$$hos. by @omegamasks

Why do I do projects like this? I gotta cut, glue, and sew this trim which is THREE MILLIMETRES WIDE. (And this was my idea. I’m a sewing masochist I guess.) 🤪 by @omegamasks

Today I learned how to adjust my serger settings AND how to use the serger to make a flat hem on the serger without disconnecting one of the needles! Therefore I deserve an Empress martini. 🍸 Kanpai! by @omegamasks

I think I know masks pretty well, but gearmaking is just not my thing. I dabbled in it back in the day, I’ve made just about every type of gear for male wrestlers back in the OMEGA days, but every piece was a new thing I’d have to stumble through, and I was doing it all on a home straight/zigzag machine. My hat is off to people like @darylapparyl and @closetchampion who make gear every day with a serger. That machine has to have been designed by the devil! So complicated, such tight and cluttered machinery inside. I accidentally tugged one of my threads out of the machine when I was lifting it up and setting it on the table, and it took me most of the afternoon to get it all running again. And then the loops were sticking out too far—I had no idea what that meant! Thankfully I found a wonderful video on YouTube that quickly led me to a solution. I can’t wait to get this shirt done and get back to #maskmaking! 😂 by @omegamasks

One of my masks made it to All In London! You can even sort of see the Omega Masks label in the last pic. We always do some original design on the tongue cape for Lee's masks, and @theleemoriarty was kind enough to let me do what I wanted on this one. I decided to surprise him with a vinyl applique version of the art he drew for one of his t-shirts (still available at shopaew.com !) Lots of tiny fiddly pieces, but I was really happy with the way this one turned out. Thanks to Lee for the opportunity, and congratulations on making it to the big one! by @omegamasks

I said decades ago I would never do gear again, and would just specialise in masks. But every once in a while, when an old friend asks you to make something, you can’t so no, can you? Checking out AEW All In and cutting some stretch lace. I hope I remember how to do this sorta thing… by @omegamasks

I don’t do a lot of gem work on masks, but am working on one now and realised I have accumulated a lot of different faux gems over the years, and they’ve all been scattered across a hodgepodge of different storage containers, making them hard to go through and hard to store. So I recently found this great storage box, actually for boxes that stack and lock together, with a carrying handle on top. Each layer contains a bunch of small, medium, or large sub-boxes, which are perfect for gems. I spent yesterday figuring out how to get thousands of tiny gems out of the little sectioned boxes they came in, and into individual plastic boxes for easy access. Now all my gems are in one place, easy to access! Now I just need to label all the individual boxes. (The boxes came with some sheets of adhesive labels.) 💎 by @omegamasks

My favourite Scotch of all time. Today the more expensive bottle was on sale, so happy me. Love The Dalmore! Kanpai! 🥃 by @omegamasks

Man, this faux fur I got from @howlfabric is SO MUCH BETTER than anything I ever got back in the JoAnn’s days. Thicker, denser, and doesn’t shed nearly as much as the other furs I’ve used. This is their teddy bear fur, and is perfect for tiger masks, no trimming necessary. They have tonnes of colours too, giving me all sorts of variant ideas. 🐯 by @omegamasks

Ordered a new vacuum cleaner to clean my PS5. This was not how the product was named in the Amazon listing. by @omegamasks

I haven’t made a lot of masks that have incorporated gems as part of the design (only one I can think of really). Gems and vinyl don’t play well together naturally, so I’m doing a bunch of tests of different methods, trying to find the best way to keep those little buggers in their place. by @omegamasks
