Portland, thank you so much for welcoming me into your city 🤠 What an honor it was for my first time visiting to also be my first opportunity to play for you. Huge thank you to @reapernoises for having me along for the show! The energy, vibe and hospitality you guys have up in Portland is truly special. It was kind of crazy to see a few of you singing along to my songs AND that you got down with the new unreleased song I’ve been teasing out. Highlights of the night for me: • Getting a Skanka Kandy traded to me during the set (if this was you… say haiii) • One of you lovely people in the front row was singing “On My Way” back to me during the second verse (slide 9, if that’s you… say haiii) • I got to be a “stand in” for REAPER while he made sure his visuals worked during his sound check, that was pretty neat. • Not only did I get to play the REAPER show, @mrdeedsmusic managed to get me, him and @wergulz booked at the @_neondreamsevents_ afters. Two performances in one night in a brand new city! Tonight, dreams are coming alive under the Electric Sky! Kicked off the year with a double celebration 🤠 3 years of Skanka & 11 years of @spaceyacht what an INSANE time! Y’all really packed the Bardot out! On January 13th, 2023 I made my live debut as Skanka at the Bardot in @avalonhollywood . It’s unfathomable what we’ve been able to accomplish together in just three years. Thank you so much for showing up to all the shows, streaming my music and continuing to be excited about the Skanka movement!
