🤖 We're hiring a PhD student — and this one's special.

Robots can think fast, but they still struggle to touch well. Everything happens at the contact interface: friction, adhesion, slip. That's exactly where this PhD project lives.

You'll work on high-performance robotic grippers with soft electroactive contacts — designing surfaces that tune friction and adhesion on demand, and feeding controllers with high-speed tactile data on pressure, slip, and object properties. Dexterity beyond human capability.

The project is funded by OmniGrasp and run in close collaboration with our team, blending fundamental research with real industry-driven innovation, built on our electroactive gripper technology.
