So we're sitting in a kafana recently and Fanya goes:

- Try on some hairstyles with AI before going to Turkey!

Before that we were at the abandoned Zastava factory in Belgrade. A hobo-dude hardly authorized this photoshoot btw, but who's gonna lift up the industry if not us🤔

Formed in 2017, The OMY is a Belgrade-based music duo consisting of songwriter-producer Daniel Izmailov and singer-songwriter Igor Volkov, known for their chaotic performances with fierce vocals and heavy electro-punk sound. Initially a quartet, the band has released two studio albums with several singles, carving their path from electronic jazz-punk towards a grittier sound encompassing breakcore, hardcore, and rave.

The OMY’s shows are extremely diverse in terms of visuals, so simply put, this isn’t just music to hear—it’s something to witness. No wonder the band has been repeatedly coned as ‘bright,’ ‘hectic,’ and ‘weird’ by different music critics.

Igor Stangliczky aka Stung, is a designer and sound artist. His focus is on collecting field recordings which he moulds into music pieces by re-sculpting the captured sounds using software instruments. Also, collaboration with Marko Jevtic is based on the same idea, spiced up with sound of Marko’s acoustic guitar.

The OMY, ustanovljen leta 2017, sestavljata songwriter-producent @danielsick13 in singer-songwriter @gor.vol. Znana sta po kaotičnih live nastopih, agresivnih vokalih in težkem electro-punk zvoku, ki združuje elemente breakcora, hardcora, ravea in surove elektronske energije.

Sprva kvartet, danes duo, je bend skozi leta razvil svoj izraz od electronic jazz-punka do intenzivnega, nepredvidljivega in hrupnega klubskega kaosa. Njihovi nastopi niso samo koncerti, ampak popolna avdiovizualna izkušnja - glasni, divji, čudni in neprestano na robu razpada.

V zadnjih letih so nastopili na številnih evropskih odrih, med drugim v Supersonic (Francija), Domu omladine Beograd, na festivalu Peter Hafner, Singles (Bolgarija), Jenemar Passejour (Češka), Signal Festivalu in Glavclubu. Oder so si delili tudi z izvajalci kot so A Place to Bury Strangers, Red Snapper in Maruja.

Tokrat prihajajo v Ljubljano v okviru spomladanske evropske turneje, kjer predstavljajo nov material - eksplozivno mešanico electro-punka, ravea in hardcore energije.

The Belgrade duo brings a chaotic mix of electro-punk, breakcore, rave energy and fierce live vocals — loud, unpredictable and impossible to stand still to.

Snake Orange Cake opens the evening with fragmented spoken word, hypnotic loops and intimate electronics drifting somewhere between memory and noise.

@snakeorangecake (Berlin) – Indietronica

Snake Orange Cake is the project of Åland-raised, Berlin-based artist Julia Carlsson, working in the shifting space between spoken word, experimental electronics, and emotional memory. Using voice, looper, sampler, and synth, she builds fragmented soundscapes where language dissolves into rhythm and texture — intimate, and quietly resistant.
