Midnight Lightning ⚡️ 7b/v8 ✓

Hands down of the best v8s I’ve climbed and a dream boulder too. All the moves are so fun with a techy start, committing jump to the lightning bolt, and scary mantle at 25ft high! So happy to put down a classic in the valley.
.
Shoutout to @timcasasola for all the spots and early morning sessions on this classic boulder. @ryans.rock for lending me his chalk bag and spotting me in my send go.

Ebriosity 7c+/v10 ✓

The memories I had at this boulder will forever be engrained in my mind. The lessons I learned and the new friends I made as well. That’s what I love the most about climbing. The process and the people you meet projecting the same boulder.

There was a lot of fight on Ebriosity; waiting and chasing conditions, but most importantly, having the mental capacity to get back up and fight through many heartbreaking drops at the top. There are a lot of things I would do differently approaching this boulder. One being visualizing and believing in myself to power through all the negative mindset. Second, would be to make adjustments faster and execute them consistently.

Getting the day flash on it after those 3 heartbreaking drops the previous day felt so good. I went home right away and enjoyed my nephew’s birthday!

Shoutouts for the psyche, spots, and crashpads:

What a project! Took 5 sessions and got to meet so many amazing people along the way. Couldn’t be more psyched to put down this classic boulder. First of so many v10s, hopefully!
.
Many shoutouts to @timcasasola for introducing me to this boulder and working it with me on our first session. @freddyhoang for being cancer free and what this meant to him after sending it shortly after me and having such a positive attitude towards climbing! @jonah.rydr for sending this on his birthday and finding that toe hook beta that unlocked "easy mode" for the both of us. @jutgalak & @aya_onoe for witnessing my day flash and cheering me on! Lastly, @sendsbyoliver for capturing amazing photos during my sessions and endless support!
.
Thank you everyone for the stoke and support ! ❤️

This has always been on my radar to try. I was happy to join @dannyryanorr on it when he visited Leavenworth for the first time. He did it really quickly and I was instantly drawn to the moves and inspired by his climbing.

I did all the moves in two sessions except latching the dyno. I knew I had to come back for it.

I returned full of psych, but one hour into the session, it started to rain. Friends started to join me, one by one, and we convinced each other that we could still try the lower part of the climb. Collectively, we got towels and fans to dry out the top and dyno holds. After thirty minutes of work, the clouds cleared, and it was time.

I couldn’t have asked for a better crew. Sharing extra pads, supporting, drying out holds, cheering each other on, and climbing the boulder together. Everyone had their own beta and kept on trying and trying. Getting closer and closer each time. The stoke and vibes were off the chart. And that’s the beautiful thing about climbing!

Fall season is upon us and it was a gorgeous drive down to Stevens Pass. 🍂 I was fortunate enough to have gotten back on this beautiful roof boulder after running out of juice last summer.

Shoutouts to @lildantryhard @caitlinyip5 @solsends and Dara for the support and spots!

Turns out moving the left hand tick mark to the right made the first move stick 🤷🏻‍♂️

@dannyryanorr and I touched this boulder last season and I was not in bouldering shape. Good to come back with him cruising the low, and me, finishing the stand.

We almost didn’t make it out there. But we were out there!

It was a long day of climbing and we still managed to be at this boulder till 11pm ish. My left shoulder was bugging me the whole day (maybe because of the foot slip on Kobra?). I didn’t pull on this boulder until the sun went down and was running low on energy.

Key tip I learned from Coach Daniel, “Why call it quits now? When you haven’t really regressed?”

Thanks to @lildantryhard for encouraging me to keep trying after the nasty dry fire and multiple foot slips and Beatrix for the stoke!

Hope I made you proud @yanman1003 - the first beta videos I saw on this!

I tried this boulder back in February with @lildantryhard and @arthurhasno I couldn’t do the big bump move because, at that time, I just didn’t understand it. The angle of the right foot was awkward, tiny, and felt unstable to generate from. The timing to the right hand side pull bump was challenging because you have to fall into it rather than latching straight up (big bump moves are my nemesis).

Tall boulders with a single line are stunning. Kobra Kon immediately caught my eye for this reason. I almost didn’t session this that night but I’m glad Daniel convinced me too. There’s nothing like executing a boulder to near perfection and feeling that joy at the top. It’s such a good boulder; definitely one of my favorite v9s ever!

Thanks for letting me use your pads @caitlinyip5 @alison.lieu 🙏🏽 and @lildantryhard for the spots and stoke!

Before even moving back to the PNW two years ago, I was already project shopping for a boulder I wanted to climb in Leavenworth. I came across @milo_forbes send video on my explore page and his caption had me sold. I quickly added this to the long list of boulders I wanted to climb.

My goal during my first session, with the help of Caitlin, was clear: learn all the moves individually. Through trial and error, I figured out which beta felt comfortable as I put the moves together. The conditions weren’t ideal and the skin was thin.

After three restless nights, I was gifted with crisp condies and stoke as high as the clouds!

Every movement on this is an 11/10 and I highly recommend it! One of the best lines for sure in Leavenworth.

Shoutout to @caitlinyip5 for supporting me during my first session. And @lildantryhard for showing me the boulder, and for the psyche, always.

Being 4.5 days on with bruised fingertips, I really wantedto flash this since the holds were sharp af. I didn't get the left hand secure enough when going for the dyno and peeled right off. Good thing my friend @seantwojetskis caught my hat 😅 Went on the third go and almost fumbled on my top out lol. Such a board climb👌🏽
