⭐ Sharing and listening mean growth and revision ⭐
The more you share what you are doing with people, the more advice you will get. It might even help you change your whole perspective on your work.

A week ago, on 14-16 September, I happily accepted Özyeğin Entrepreneurship Society’s invitation to participate in the ‘OzU ES Street’ as a presenter of my initiative, On Bio Matter, at the IEF - International Entrepreneurship Forum 2026, under the theme “Entrepreneurship, Values, and Well-Being in the Age of Artificial Intelligence,” at Özyeğin University.

My question on ‘Founder’s Dilemma’ was:
Which is more promising for an initiative to secure funding: industrial, rapidly produced materials, OR slowly produced, craft-based materials?
✍ In addition to feedbacks, three post-its were pasted: ✍
- Both
- Depends on the market
- Depends on the industry.

Additionally, on ES Street, participants voted on whose initiative was most promising. Mine couldn’t win, and I still don’t know where I rank. I was really happy for the initiative that won, and for every one of my friends who were there to share their effort. While getting ready to pack and leave the forum, Prof. Jay Mitra, the founder of IEF - International Entrepreneurship Forum, came up to me and said, “This is a brilliant idea, great concept, but sadly, you couldn’t win.” It helped me feel better. As founders, we all have doubts sometimes. 🥹

Along with the other valuable feedback I have received, I -again- realized that I am really passionate about my idea of utilizing and repurposing textile waste, and I will DEFINITELY scale up my work across various industries where it’s needed. I am currently supporting my work with academic and literary backgrounds. Once I’m done with it, I AM READY TO SKY-ROCKET ON BIO MATTER’S PROCESS!! 🧶 🧱 👩‍🔬

This was one of the works that I wanted to do in a very short amount of time- cause if you know me I tend to do everything when the deadline is extremely close. This idea came up out of curiosity and I wanted to utilize textile waste as a paper sheet. After working on the solution for a while, I think it turned out quite well, however it still needs improvement. I think this can also go somewhere. Im kinda satisfied w the fact that I didn’t cut the textile waste this time. It is a nightmare sometimes.

Bu fikir ‘’Acaba?’’ sorusunu sormamla başladı ve tekstıl atığını kağıt olarak kullanabilir miyim bunun üstüne çalıştım. Solüsyon denemelerinden sonra uygun bir prototip çıkarabildim. Bence fen olmadı ama ilerletilmeye geliştirilmeye ihtyiacı var. Bu sefer tekstil atığını kesmeden çalıştığım için mutluyum. Bazen çok zorluyor çünkü. Kabuslarım olabiliyor. by @onbiomatter

THROWBACK to My ‘Textile Waste and Biomaterials’ Workshop on BioDesign Day at Ozyegin University @ozyeginuni !!! BioDesign Day conducted by @colight_research_lab , @open.fab and @ozu_tto ))) In this workshop I have shared how I make my textile waste-bio-binder sheets and provided existing sheets for partocopants to make accessories and jewelry. The process, and the results were really nice. Such a fun workshop. The results were also stylish too! Looking forward to expand my work.

[EN-TR] BEVISIONEERS GLOBAL SUMMIT 2026! As always, you have my heart. This summit has been extremely eye-opening for me- when comparing with the regional Summit. Meanwhile Regional was more about defining your idea, Global was oscillating between whether I should ditch the project or not!!😅😂😂 Ooh man this time it was very challenging for me- jokes aside… This summit signals some of the crucial turning points of my initiative. Your idea may be good but pitching and the finances…. Oooohh serious importance.!! The Ecosystem Exchange sessions, Marketplace sessions and meeting experts from Mercedes-Benz and various fields were the highlights of this summit (oh believe me there are lottsss of highlights that needs to be mentioned).
