**1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY** Exactly one year ago today, we wrapped the shoot of our proof of concept short film for OnceOne! 🎬 Those 5 days of insane filming are an unforgettable experience and so of course I’ll do a little recap on what has happened since: • During summer last year our main focus was editing the short film together. Then we passed it on the our Composers, VFX artist, Colour Grader and Sound Designer. 🎻 • Especially the VFX were and are still taking us a lot longer than expected but rushing it wouldn’t do any good at all! The tracking involved and the urge to create something entirely new and exciting, just needs a large amount of time. But it is happening! ✨ • In the meantime, our series creator sat down to write a pitch bible of the full series - a document explaining the magic system, the characters, the story arcs and more. 📝 • We also entered OnceOne in a few project competitions, where we won the 14th Jugendprojektwettbewerb as well as the Entrepreneurship Category at the Smart Screen Creative Awards. 🏆 • We are now implementing an updated version of the VFX into the short film and hope to soon be able to do the final passes on Sound & Colour Grade. • At the same time we are eagerly starting to look out for festivals to enter as well as finding producers and production companies interested in the full series. ⚒🍀 • I can say, even when it‘s often quiet on our social media sites, we are busy busy busy working on OnceOne and trying to create something magical 🌟 #castle #fantasy #history #filmmaking #femaledirector #tvseries #anniversary #setlife #update #onceone #onceoneseries #huntforthelaegrits by @onceoneseries
✨Swipe to see the Pitch Bible Extract ✨ A little description about the protagonist Zina ✨ • • I remember writing the script for OnceOne‘s proof of concept film and I had this secret hiding place in mind with shelves filled of old books and scrolls. It was amazing to see how @denadumitrescu_design brought it to live in the castle Altfinstermünz! • • Costumes @goldenphi_empress Production Design @denadumitrescu_design 📸 @fahimfadz #behindthescenes #huntforthelaegrits #femalefilmmakers #filmmaking #femaleprotagonist #womeninfilm #history #fantasy #fantasymovie #tvseries #witches by @onceoneseries
Hello Everyone! Finally back from the long silence! We’ve had a very busy start into 2019 and are eager for the exciting months to come. As a little New Year’s gift and to make up for the silence, would you like to see an extract from our OnceOne Pitch Bible? Comment 🙌 below and I‘ll share a little quote tonight! • • • Costumes @goldenphi_empress 📸 @fahimfadz #onceone #huntforthelaegrits #witches #fantasy #tvseries #filmmaking #femaleempowerment #femalefilmmaker #femaledirector #shortfilm #filmmaking #onset #behindthescenes by @onceoneseries
So overwhelmed, as yesterday night marked the third award for OnceOne! We were nominated for the SSCA, Entrepreuneurship Category and what a surprise to take home the win! 🏆 Thank you so much to everyone supporting this project ✨🍀 • • • 📸 @kazosaur & @nicksladevfx #femaleempowerment #femaledirectors #onceone #awardshow #ssca #proofofconcept #shortfilm #womeninfilm #filmindustry #redcarpet #entrepreuneurship #filmmaking #directing #cinematography #fantasy #history #win by @onceoneseries
After another exciting weekend, here comes update Part 3 from @raphaelajwagner accompanied by our first Laurel!⠀ •⠀ •⠀ Once back in London, we got a nomination for the Smart Screen Creative Awards #ssca2018 and can‘t wait to attend the exciting evening on the 26th Nov! We’re down for the Entrepreneurship category and hope to impress the judges with castles, horses and swords ⚔️😜 Of course I’m joking it’ll be numbers and facts more than anything else but hey, the above do look magic on screen, right? ✨⠀ •⠀ •⠀ Last but not least, Post-Production on the film is still going on, both sound-design and VFX have some missing parts so so working on that! 🎬⠀ •⠀ •⠀ All in all, what sounds so glorious, is also a big load of work. The recent success we‘ve been getting is a huge push for us to keep going with our „slightly crazy and overly ambitious“ project 🤗 I consider it a 24/7 headache of non-stop work but nevertheless it’s a headache I wouldn’t trade for anything else! Any of you have similar feelings? Things that make you crazy and still they are your passion? Comment below! ⬇️ I‘m curious to know ✨⠀ •⠀ •⠀ •⠀ •⠀ #craftofacting #behindthescenes #photography #fantasy #film #history #castle #magic #tvseries #movie #filmmaking #filmaward #acting #actors #onset #directing #shortfilm #moviemagic #filmdirector #femaleempowerment #womeninfilm #femaledirector #laurel by @onceoneseries
The Leading Lady in the Spotlight ✨ Back again, following the last post with Updates Part 2 🎬 • • After the #jpw2018 I went on to Vienna to meet some industry professionals and producers including Location Austria. Being in a new city all by myself was rather daunting, but I had quite some fun exploring the city! Trying to get any bit of work done was a struggle though and I spent a fair amount of time looking for nice internet cafes 😂 Which, by the way, there are loads of in Vienna! But apart from sightseeing with the Vienna Film Commission, I also got some other good inputs on OnceOne as well as more knowledge of the Austrian Film Industry and contacts for the further development of OnceOne. 🤞 • • With that I wish you all a great Weekend! Enjoy the lovely rainy days of cloudy November 🌧 And I’m now off to the #jpw2018 interregional Final! See our story for updates throughout the evening 😉 ~ @raphaelajwagner • • • • 📸 @FahimFadz #leadactress #acting #filmmaking #movie #onceone #history #fantasy #tvmovie #tvseries #proofofconcept #behindthescenes #craftofacting #actress #directing #shortfilm #aimhigh #workhard #witches #womaninfilm #femaleempowerment by @onceoneseries
Costume Check for Caecillia 🧙🏻‍♀️🏹⠀ •⠀ •⠀ @raphaelajwagner here! Glad to announce I‘m back in the game with getting content to all of you wonderful people following our journey!✨⠀ •⠀ •⠀ After an incredible two weeks of Pitches, Festivals and Awards, rest is still nowhere near! But I do owe you a litte update on what‘s actually been going on, so over the next few posts you‘ll get some first hand info on the recent events 🤗⠀ •⠀ •⠀ At the End of October, I was pitching OnceOne at the #jugendprojektwettbewerb It was a great experience to present OnceOne to an audience for the first time and to our disbelief we took home 🥇 It was followed by OnceOne making the front page of the local newspaper and a call from the press asking for an interview -> Very clear moment of „I have no idea what I’m doing“ 😅 Long story short, we‘re really looking forwards to pitching OnceOne again at the interregional follow up competition! It‘s this Saturday in Schaan, Liechtenstein, incase anyone wants to come along ✨⠀ •⠀ •⠀ Now to you guys! I‘m curious who‘s had some similar „no idea what I‘m doing“ moments?? Go and share your crazy experiences in the comments below! ⬇️ We‘ll repost the best on in our story 😉⠀ •⠀ •⠀ •⠀ •⠀ Costumes @goldenphi_empress 📸 @fahimfadz ⠀ #filmmaking #acting #costumedesigner #medieval #shortfilm #directing #acting #tvseries #onceone #huntforthelaegrits #behindthescenes #craftofacting #actress #filmprep #funonset #fantasy #movie by @onceoneseries
Izzie again, how is November treating everyone so far?! 👇🏻 let me know down below I’d love to learn more about you guys! 👇🏻 ⠀ ⠀ I found this behind the scenes shot of the beautiful @dunjaschwery performing her magic on @jonesrebecca3940 💄Dunja was such a calming spirit on set and taught me so much about my skin type that I wish I’d known a lot sooner! 💫 It was actually Dunja’s daughter who secretly applied on her behalf to work on Once One and I’m so pleased to see all the other projects she’s collaborated on since! Please check out her gorgeous feed and show her some love! 🌸 ~ Izzie @DizzieActs⠀ •⠀ •⠀ •⠀ •⠀ 📸 @FahimFadz⠀ #femalefilmmakers #womeninfilm #filmindustry #funonset #behindthescenes #onlocation #instafilm #femaledirector #makingtelevision #tvindustry #filmproduction #filmmakinglife #onset #youngfilmmakers #lifeonset #filming🎬 #lightscameraaction #cinematographer #cinemacamera #filmmaking #behindthescenes by @onceoneseries
⭐️ Caption Competition! ⭐️⠀ ⠀ My attempt: “where did the weekend go?!” 🤷🏻‍♀️ Leave your ideas down below 😂👇🏻⠀ ⠀ We could always rely on our Boom Op and onset comedian, Joe Pataterno, to keep us all smiling during the later and colder shoots! 🎧🎤 ⠀ •⠀ •⠀ Whilst filming Once One, all cast and crew lived in a huge house all together - and I think that’s why the team are such a united family. Despite all contributing our very different skill sets to the project, we socialised and mingled as a team and honestly I’ve never laughed so much in and off set! When you’re lucky enough to work with such a great bunch of people, it’s more like play than a job 😁 ~ Izzie @DizzieActs⠀ •⠀ •⠀ •⠀ •⠀ 📸 @FahimFadz⠀ #femalefilmmakers #womeninfilm #filmindustry #funonset #behindthescenes #onlocation #instafilm #femaledirector #makingtelevision #tvindustry #filmproduction #filmmakinglife #onset #youngfilmmakers #lifeonset #filming🎬 #lightscameraaction #cinematographer #cinemacamera #filmmaking #behindthescenes by @onceoneseries
Exciting news‼️ On Saturday, Once One won the regional finale of the Swiss Youth Project - meaning we’re now through to the Interregional Finals! 🎉 I’m so proud of the team for all we have accomplished and especially for our amazingly talented director and writer @raphaelajwagner for bringing such a magical universe to life! Let’s all cross our fingers the next round will go just as well so the magic of the show can be shown to many more! ✨ ~ Izzie @dizzieacts⠀ •⠀ •⠀ •⠀ •⠀ 📸 Christian Kressig⠀ #femalefilmmakers #womeninfilm #filmindustry #funonset #behindthescenes #onlocation #instafilm #femaledirector #makingtelevision #tvindustry #filmproduction #filmmakinglife #onset #youngfilmmakers #lifeonset #filming🎬 #lightscameraaction #cinematographer #cinemacamera #filmmaking #behindthescenes by @onceoneseries
Hey Once One fans! It’s Izzie @Dizzieacts here, posting my first pic as part of my IG takeover whilst the busy @raphaelajwagner focuses on some exciting opportunities for the series! 🎥 I’ll be posting some of my favourite behind the scenes pics from the show (just like this one!) and chatting about the experience of being a member of this amazing production 🌟 ⠀ •⠀ •⠀ •⠀ •⠀ 📸 @FahimFadz ⠀ #femalefilmmakers #womeninfilm #filmindustry #funonset #behindthescenes #onlocation #instafilm #femaledirector #makingtelevision #tvindustry #filmproduction #filmmakinglife #onset #youngfilmmakers #lifeonset #filming🎬 #lightscameraaction #myfilmlife #setlife🎥 #setlife #makingmovies #lifeonset #movieset #onsetlife #filmingday by @onceoneseries
Almost the weekend! 🤗😁 Who‘s excited? We are for sure as we‘ll be pitching OnceOne at the JPW 2018 tomorrow and then have multiple meetings in Vienna lined up! While I‘ll try to post as much as possible during the exciting time, lovely @dizzieacts who played Tegwyne in our film will help us run the account so you don‘t have to wait for photos! 😉😉 #funonset #behindthescenes #filmmaking #cinematographer #funfriday #failfriday #directing #movie #tvseries #film #fantasy #history Photo @fahimfadz by @onceoneseries
