“Everything Ends” is a prayer to the intelligence that is beyond the human brain, the intelligence that made the human brain. A hopeful yearning to not be left behind or kept separate from the wisdom that is the life force pulsing through every cell and microorganism of this vast, complex, changing, and mysterious planet we call home. We too are just one of its many beautiful expressions

Sean Rowe has some of the richest lows I’ve ever heard in a voice. The AEA R44 was the perfect microphone choice! Full video on youtube. Link in bio. by @ondecksoundstudio

“Jimmy’s Got a Gun”, an anti-capitalist anthem that takes aim at the absurdity of wealth hoarding while so many people struggle to get by. Tackling gun violence, intolerance, transphobia, and corporate power, the song shines the light on what happens when fear and greed are allowed to shape the world around us.

“With the American midterm elections approaching, we’re releasing the song at a moment when questions about power, money, division, and whose voices get heard feel particularly urgent.”

The end of an era. We will miss Eddie. Give him a shout out and let him know you care. He is moving on to keep climbing the ladder of this crazy business and heading in the direction of concert promotion. He is sure to succeed. The kids got it. by @ondecksoundstudio

Stick around to the end to see if we have a new woman’s studio record for strict pull ups after cutting a vocal. When your CrossFit coach stops in to cut a vocal you never know what will happen. @erineliza09 by @ondecksoundstudio

I’ve been nominated for Producer of the Year by the @nemusicawards

It took me years to feel like I actually had a handle on what it really means to be a producer. These days it’s my primary role in my musical life. I love it—helping artists realize their vision is so rewarding.

As a lifelong bassist, I’ve always been a “serve the song first” kind of musician. My first intention is to make the band sound better, rather than myself—and this mentality is key to producing as well. There are days I need to fight to get an idea I believe in across. But it’s always in order to serve the song, the album, and to help the artist discover their sound.

I am grateful for the nomination! And huge thanks to the team here at On Deck, as well as the hundreds of artists who call On Deck their home. So much more to come! by @ondecksoundstudio

We showed up at @ondecksoundstudio in September 2024 with some songs and the desire to make an album that felt the way a Pairs show feels. We wanted the music to create a sense of welcome, inviting people into the story. A chair waiting at the family kitchen table. Together on this rock. @tracywaltonmusic was looking to make an album just like that. So here we are, 2 years later, with an album that we are all very proud of and we can confidently say, we realized that goal. Thanks for being together on this rock with us.

“Like a Moth” is a song off of our album “Together on a Rock” and speaks to the messiness of navigating an online world. The drama of wanting to know more and the knowledge that it can be too much to take on. It’s important to be aware and connected to the world, it’s also important to care for our hearts and our brains. 2 years later and we, personally, need this reminder even more.
