Every Ōnder Ōns dinner begins with a space. This month, we’re honored to gather inside @addisonripley , one of Washington’s longest-standing contemporary art galleries.We’ll be joining during Glitchscape, a group exhibition curated by @trevoryoung_painting featuring the work of fourteen artists from the DMV and beyond. Together, the exhibition explores the shifting space between dystopian and utopian worlds through imagined landscapes, urban environments, abstraction, and memory. Glitchscape invites viewers to slow down, embrace uncertainty, and discover moments of beauty within fractured, ever-changing worlds.We can’t wait to experience the exhibition together around the dinner table. by @onderonssuppers

I came to paint a canvas and it seems the room painted me first. Blue for the flow of oceanic energy. Light dancing purples and magentas for the kinesthesia. Spurts of brightness in yellow, shifting and lilting in sunset’s afterglow. Teal for the depth of a drink in company. Layers and layers and layers, all transforming in real time.Every conversation, every presence informed what came next.I didn’t expect to love painting with people this much. Didn’t expect the conversations, sitting down after and keeping them going. It was all a beautiful surprise.Thanks to @onderonssuppers for having me, @longviewgallery for the art surrounding us by @zidekahedron & @nathanbrown77 , and @dj___koh for vinyl that carried the vibe through the night. by @onderonssuppers

With our next gathering just around the corner, we wanted to take a moment to highlight where we’ll be spending the evening.We are honored to be joining @longviewgallery inside their Shaw neighborhood home, the largest contemporary art gallery in Washington, D.C., and a space where art, community, and ambition have shared the same walls for over a decade.We’ll be gathering during Continuum, a dual exhibition featuring the work of @nathanbrown77 and @zidekahedron Together, they explore abstraction as a state of constant transition, investigating how form, material, and perception shift through systems of structure, repetition, and change. by @onderonssuppers
