PAPER LAMP WORKSHOP 🏮 A little light, made by you with Hanji Introducing a new workshop format at ONDO: an evening of creativity followed by a traditional Korean dinner ✨ During our recent trip to Korea, we promised to bring back new workshop ideas for you and here’s the first one ! As autumn settles in and daylight fades a little earlier, we find ourselves drawn to warm lights, shared meals and moments spent together. What better time to make a little light of your own? Working with hanji, traditional Korean paper, and a wooden frame, you’ll create your own lamp. Discover how light reveals the paper’s delicate textures, turning it into a soft glow for your favourite corner at home. We’ll then gather around the table for a Korean dinner and drinks, time to enjoy good food, meet new people and let the evening unfold. Come on your own or bring a friend, and take home a little light for the darker days 🤍 No experience needed, just curiosity. 🗓️ Friday, 13 November 🕰️ 7–10 pm 📍 Rue de Dublin 26, Brussels ✨ €85 per person all materials, your lamp to take home, Korean dinner and drinks included. 🤍 An intimate evening for just 6 participants. 💌 DM us to reserve your spot by @ondo.brussels
POSTCARDS FROM SOMEWHERE 🎨🌍 Watercolor, Solo Travel Stories & Korean Dinner What if, for one evening, we travelled a little differently? ✨ At ONDO, we share the discoveries and memories of our travels through flavours, objects and craft. This time, we’re taking the journey onto paper. Meet @margotsouren, a passionate solo traveller whose adventure began three years ago. Since then, she has explored over 30 countries and travelled around the world solo, with a memorable stop in Korea 🇰🇷 Along the way, her travel journal became another way to collect memories: slowing down, noticing the little details and capturing a moment with a few brushstrokes. Now it’s your turn. Discover the basics of watercolour and create four postcards inspired by your memories or the places you dream of visiting. No drawing skills needed, just a little curiosity 🖌️ Throughout the evening, Margot will share stories from her travels and practical tips for setting off solo. How do you find the courage to go? Where do you start? Bring your questions, your experiences and your dreams of somewhere new. Then, we’ll continue the conversation over homemade bibimbap and Korean tea 🍵 An evening to create, taste, connect… and perhaps start imagining your next adventure. Date : Friday, 20 November 2026 Time : 7–9pm Price : €55 per person, all materials, four postcards, Korean dinner and tea included 📍ONDO Korean Coffee Shop · Brussels 🎨Beginners welcome Leave with four postcards of your own and, perhaps, the inspiration to start your very own travel journal 💌 DM us to book your spot✨ by @ondo.brussels

FROM THE KOREAN SEA TO ONDO 🌊🤍 A little piece of Korea has found its way to Brussels. During our recent trip to South Korea, we travelled to Seonjaedo (선재도), a small island off the western coast, to meet the artisans behind Ongjin Craft Cooperative (옹진공예협동조합). Founded by 안숭환 (Ahn Soonghwan) and 김숙미 (Kim Sukmi), this beautiful project brings together traditional Korean craftsmanship, nature, and a deep love for their local heritage. What makes their ceramics so special? They use 갯벌 (gaetbeol), natural mud from Korea’s tidal flats, to create unique textures and earthy colours. Each piece carries a little piece of the Korean sea. At ONDO, we‘ve always believed that every cup tells a story. That’s why we‘re so happy to share their craftsmanship with you, from the cups we serve your coffee in to the pieces you can bring home. Our very first limited Korean ceramic collection is now available at ONDO! 📍Rue de Dublin 26, Brussels by @ondo.brussels

Everything was prepared especially for the event, with a dedicated table setting, flowers, Korean teas, coffee and our signature cocktails. KOREAN CHAI LATTE 🍂 Caffeine-free 🤎 What makes our Korean Chai Latte special starts before the drink is even made. At ONDO, we prepare our cheong 청 in-house, using a traditional Korean method where ingredients are slowly preserved with sugar to naturally extract their flavours over time. No ready-made syrup. No shortcuts. Just time, good ingredients, and a little patience. Once the cheong is ready, we use it as the base of our Korean Chai Latte, together with a blend of warm chai spices and steamed milk. No black tea just our homemade cheong, spices and milk. A comforting drink made the ONDO way, starting with something we prepare ourselves in our kitchen. 🤎 by @ondo.brussels
ONDO♨️ (온도) means temperature in Korean And this summer, Brussels really reminded us why we chose that name. Warm streets, long afternoons, sunlight on the terrace, ice melting a little too fast… and those small moments when all you want is something cold to slow everything down. At ONDO, summer has looked like bowls of bingsu, iced drinks, watermelon, and quiet breaks from the heat. A little freshness in the middle of a warm city. So while the temperature is still high, come enjoy these last summer days with us, one bingsu at a time. ☀️🍧 A little thank you to the people behind some of our favorite things: @boocoffeeroasters for the amazing coffee, @kage.matcha for the beautiful matcha, and to everyone who brings ONDO to life every day. 🫶 Photos by @glen.chloe by @ondo.brussels
July at ONDO ☀️🌿 July was filled with new flavors, creative evenings, beautiful encounters and little moments that made this summer feel special. We welcomed our first bingsu of the season, introduced new summer drinks, hosted another Maedup Night & Apéro, shared dinners around the table, celebrated with the BTS community, and kept creating the warm atmosphere that makes ONDO feel like home. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared a coffee, joined a workshop, or simply spent a quiet afternoon with us. Every visit became part of this month’s story. 🤍 Here’s a little July dump. See you in August, with even more surprises. Pic by @glen.chloe by @ondo.brussels
Last night, we gathered around the table for a special evening at ONDO Atelier ✨ We began by discovering the art of Maedup (매듭), where every knot carries its own meaning, before sharing a homemade Korean dinner together. More than a workshop or a meal, it was a chance to slow down, connect, create, and spend time with friends and colleagues an evening filled with knots, conversations, and meaningful moments. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the evening so special. We can’t wait to welcome you again for another evening of sharing, creativity, and connection 🫶🫶🫶 pic by @glen.chloe by @ondo.brussels
