Alhamdulilah, We’ve had a lot of new people join us recently, so here’s a quick introduction…

For us, ONE14 is about becoming stronger without leaving who we are as Muslims behind.

We train, we push ourselves, we show up for each other, and we keep working to conquer our nafs, together.

if you’re new here, welcome to the ONE14 tribe.

and if someone came to mind while reading this, share it with them. by @one14challenge

We’d love to hear what ONE14 means to you.

New Jersey, New Jersey muslim community, running, Memorize the Quran by @one14challenge

ONE14 Challenges, in your words by @one14challenge

Running was already part of Amina's life. So was memorizing the Qur'an. But she'd always done them separately.

When she came across the ONE14 Challenge, she saw a chance to bring both together and push herself to memorize surahs she might not have attempted otherwise. by @one14challenge

It's easy to make plans for the week. Keeping up with them when life gets busy is another story

So here are five small promises to make to yourself this week.

Start with what you can manage, and keep conquering your nafs 💚 by @one14challenge

Some weeks you're on top of your running and Qur'an. Other weeks, life happens

Amina talks about what to do when you've missed a few days and you're trying to get back into your routine. by @one14challenge

A community asked him to make it easier. So he made it harder.

Ahmad Fahmy on leaving a twenty-year career, nine days running across the Sahara, and why memorizing Quran is the open-water swim most adults never get into.

114K and two of the longest surahs in the Qur’an.That's what Amina signed up for.

But when we asked her what had been the hardest part of preparing, her answer was something many of us struggle with: staying consistent.

Meet Amina! She's from Maryland and took on the Twin Light Challenge in NJ this year.

Between life, running, and Qur'an memorization, she knows how difficult it can be to keep up with everything.

We sat down with Amina before the event, and we will share clips from our conversation over the coming days, inshaAllah.

Welcome amina with 💚 by @one14challenge

That’s a wrap on the NJ Challenge 2026🎉🎉

From 10K with Surat Yaseen all the way to 114K with Al-Baqarah and Aal ‘Imran.

What a day. MashaAllah, some of you were out there for hours and just kept going.

Jazakum Allahu khayran to everyone who took part and everyone who helped make the day happen.

Toughest weekend of my completed both spiritually and physically. Recited Quran to someone for over 2 hours Saturday and completed my very first 50 Mile distance today. Never thought I'd ever sign up for this and don't know if I'd do it again 😆. Knowing that some others were out there suffering with me helped me mentally get through this even though the quads, hips and calves got tight the 2nd half. Glad to see my family at the finish line

Not much else to say looking forward to recovering my mind and body and thankful for the volunteers who put all this together by @one14challenge

A setback doesn’t have to leave you where it found you.
The nafs can turn one mistake into surrender, or you can return, rebuild and rise with greater strength than before.
