The Bahamas was awesome but Holly is magic. Thank you for giving me the best birthday Holly. I’ve never loved anyone the way I love you and I can’t wait for the many vacations to come. ❤️ taken in MSC Seaside by @one_l_

Two years of love, inside jokes, healing, growing, and being slightly unhinged together.
Through all the chaos and all the calm, I’d still choose you every single time.
I wouldn’t want to do this life with anyone else.

It’s with a heavy heart that I share the passing of my Papa Allen. Anyone who knows me knows how much I loved and worshipped this jokester.
Papa lived such a beautiful life. Everything he touched turned to beauty. A passionate bricklayer, fisherman, gardener, and family man. His work still stands strong, his garden still blooms, and his lessons still live in all of us.
Losing him has reminded me how far I’ve drifted from what really matters. Too much screen time, too much work, not enough living. I want to live more like Papa, close to nature, creating things with my hands, and always putting family first.
He passed away doing what he loved most: fishing on the lake. And that gives me peace. Out of all the ways to go, that’s the one I’d wish for anyone. Doing what you love.

So here’s your reminder (and mine): move your body, limit the screens, love your people, and live with purpose.
Live like Papa Allen. 🤍🎣 taken in Belleville, Illinois by @one_l_
