I listed a few desgin trends in stories that you will be seeing in 2023. I tackled this project in 2021 and you are going to start seeing A LOT of textured walls, bathrooms, backsplashes, tables and so much more! If you don't have something textured or walls with movement in your home I bet you know someone who does!

My absolute favorite thing about this microcement backsplash is how Perfectly imperfect it is. It has movement, it speaks to me without being too over powering. It also allows other elements in this space to stand out- like my countertops. (LINK IS IN MY BIO ) for products I used! Please DM for more information if you need more step by step instructions!

You will see roman clay, plaster, microcement, limewash in homes (ofcourse if it's their vibe). This is definitely mine. It also has a lot to do with my Mediterranean background. Our homes back home are made from cement and our walls are textured with limewash wayyyyy before a trend. They were built that way due to the environment. Anywho, you will see more of it and I am here for it!! 😍

everyone said to sand and paint this deck and I did consider it for my clients + I gave them both options but they chose to go with these deck tiles because they dont want to have to maintain sanding and repainting the deck after the winter months.

this is a great renter friendly deck upgrade solution. they interlock together so easily and are really easy to install. if you dont have tools you can just skip under the railing posts but if you have tools you can notch them out like you see here using a jigsaw.

I dont have these deck tiles in my home so im not sure how theyll weather but my clients are aware of that & they still really wanted this option.

& you can install deck tiles like this too. its not hard but it does take time especially notching around the railing posts. I did not want to remove the railing because I didnt want to weaken the joints when putting them back on & tbh im afraid of heights and this deck is HIGH 🙈

super happy with the notching a couple more notches and cuts to go and this patio deck makeover is almost done! (the deck boards that is) railing privacy will be next!

This is my first time installing these deck tiles so a lot of trial and error figuring out the best way to cut them. I am finding that using a jigsaw to cut the deck tile best for notches and using scissors to cut the plastic backing on the bottom.

if youve been putting off refreshing your deck because its not in the budget yet then this is a great budget friendly, renter friendly option!

some of my favorite kitchen items and most used kitchen things are the ones ive created with my own hands 💚 i loooove creating functional pottery items for my home and for my loved ones. this is a hobby I picked it up 2 years ago and I never looked back. working with my hands immediately quiets my brain, if you know you know.

as someone who always has a million tabs open this is the one thing I did for myself to help regulate my nervous system and slow me right down. I love clay, I love the wheel but something about handbuilding is soooooo therapeutic. As a busy working mama of 3 this is one of things I make a priority no matter what. Find your passion, find that hobby and get started. Youll never regret making time for yourself.

If you have any questions about what classes they offer, let me know. Ive taken glass classes and clay ones. everyone wants a nice patio/deck outdoor space but not everyone has the budget to get the full reno done. So this is the solution for a maintenance free, rental friendly, budget friendly easy DIY upgrade! Using these Deck tiles I found for a super special buy!! I am covering these old deck boards that were painted previously. the homeowner does not want to repaint them because that comes with yearly maintenance so thats where I come in.

🤭Its not always rainbows and butterflies 🤭 I had so much fun editing our girls trip like a reality show. The best thing about our trip wasnt anything fancy... it was truly just being together. Alhamdulillah. It felt like being a kid at mamas house again with my siblings 🥹 except we really did miss the brothers + baba 💚 by @onefortyfour_
