There are some people that come into your life, and without even knowing it, become so woven into your story.

@onehannahrose is one of those people.

We met in Nashville with no idea we’d end up living in California together, chasing our dreams, and growing into ourselves side by side. Somewhere along the way, she stopped being my friend and became family.

We’re both Tauruses which means we’re equally stubborn, fiercely loyal, and lovers of all things beautiful. We’re always finding our way to good food, good music, and good company. We’re also both Enneagram 3s. We dream big, feel deeply, and probably put a little too much pressure on ourselves sometimes. We’re constantly creating, becoming, and asking ourselves, “What’s next?” It’s beautiful, and exhausting all at the same damn time. 😂

We’ve laughed until we couldn’t breathe, cried when life felt too heavy, danced when no one else would, and sang loud enough to embarrass ourselves more times than I can count.

One of my favorite things about our friendship is that we’ve never had to convince each other to play.

Hannah has become such a big part of the @luxelab family, from DJing events, bartending events, showing up for my co-workers and cheering them on, and bringing her magic into every room she walks into. But more than any of that, she’s shown up for me through the beautiful, the messy, and everything in between.

The older I get, the more I realize that friendship isn’t measured by time. It’s measured by how much of yourself you’re allowed to be around another person..

We’ve been on the same journey in so many ways—not because our stories are identical, but because we’ve given each other permission to keep becoming who we are. We’ve celebrated each other’s wins, sat with each other’s losses, and reminded one another that there is still so much life left to live.

Thank you for always being YOU.

I hope when we’re 80 years old, we’re still making strangers laugh, still dancing when no one else will, and still reminding each other that life is meant to be lived.

I love you the most. 🫶
