✨ Year One: Complete. ✨I still can’t believe my first year as a school counselor is officially over. From internship to graduation to a working counselor‼️There were many firsts! First time EVER in life winning a raffle, first NYSSCA conference, first office, first counseling session. 🩵Like many first-year counselors, I definitely had the habit of saying “yes” to everything. 😅 There were days I questioned myself and days I was learning as I went! This year taught me that being a school counselor isn’t about having all the answers it’s about being present, building relationships, advocating for students!
