A new retelling of Rostam and Sohrab in a surreal and dramatic world;
a space suspended between dream, myth, and destiny.
In this video, the timeless story of the Shahnameh is reimagined within a surreal and dramatic atmosphere—where time comes to a standstill, reality dissolves into the mist of myth, and every sword strike echoes fate. The visuals hover between dream and truth; faces filled with grandeur, sorrow, and a heavy silence that breathes just before the catastrophe.
The original music “Shahname” by @onerec_official, performed in an epic Psychedelic Rock style, forms the emotional backbone of the narrative. Elongated, trance-like guitars, deep and pounding rhythms, and layered soundscapes reflect both heroic grandeur and tragic grief. The music transforms the battle into a mental and mythological journey.
This work is not a retelling of a story;
it is an immersion into the subconscious of myth,
where heroes, before ever recognizing one another,
have already surrendered to destiny.

Sometimes life’s events shimmer in the distance like a tempting mirage—pulling us forward with hope, only to fade into dust as we reach them. Yet these mirages shape our path and bring us closer to truth.
