THE SMALL FACTORY POP UP EVENT

Saturday 19th September 2026
12:00-17:00
One Star Lounge & Gallery
301-303 Victoria Street, West Melbourne VIC 3003
@onestarlounge

About:
The collection is created by Japanese artist KAORI TAZOE in collaboration with a small factory in Tokyo. Each piece is a unique work of jewellery in which the base ring and top can be easily interchanged via a screw mechanism, allowing for countless combinations.

At the event, you’ll be able to explore an impressive range of parts, create your own combinations, and purchase from a single piece if you wish. No booking required, drop in anytime.

All welcome! Very much looking forward to seeing you then🤍

INTERIOR - 41 Participating Artists.
……and as an idea, perhaps in contrast to perceived exteriors or edges, or separated only by a membrane... If there’s an interior, what is meant to happen inside, what is left outside, or kept from coming in, or leaving? Reality is vast and the interdependence of matter is in constant flux, forming and reforming boundaries, illusory and otherwise.

…..We invite artists to reflect on their own interior landscapes, the nature of private versus public space, and the interplay between the self and the surrounding world and the essence of personal and existential spaces.
Curators Mariella and Katy

If I were asked to name the chief benefit of the house, I should say: the house shelters day-dreaming, the house protects the dreamer, the house allows one to dream in peace.

I’m exhibiting framed high quality prints of my new Constellation series for sale at the spectacular upcoming group show Interiors at @onestarlounge Gallery in Nth Melbourne opening Friday night 14th August • INTERIOR is our 8th group exhibition as co-curators. For this complex theme artists were invited to reflect on their own interior landscapes, the nature of private versus public space, the interplay between the self and the surrounding world and the essence of personal and existential spaces.
This is also inherently the place from where we share our interiority with others through art.
Mariella Del Conte and Katy Beale
