About a month ago, we had the honor of playing closing set after two days of raving on a mountain with ~30 of our friends. It was our first official time playing as Plus One and couldn’t stop feeding off each other’s energy. That set is now on our SoundCloud! Link in bio 🙏🏽

Also don’t forget to grab tickets to catch these vibes this Saturday 9/5 at Jackson’s Rooftop as we open for Dave Summer! Link also in bio!! by @onetensounds

After playing countless b2bs together (and marrying each other), we decided to rebrand our joint DJ sets to Plus One

Individually, as @onetensounds and @mbma.wav, we won’t stop putting out our own sets and doing our own shows but we just love playing together and feeding off each other’s energy.

Heads up- exciting announcement coming this week where you can catch our first rebrand set live!➕ taken in Denver, Colorado by @onetensounds

LINK IN BIO. IMO, the best set @mbma.wav and I have ever played, and the first where we put our own custom mash ups and edits in.

Some of our own include:
Tell Me It’s True x Something About You
Thriller x She’s Gone Dance On
Around The World x It Might Be The Drugs
Freak x Raw x 2c2
Innerbloom x Hide U

Playing this the night after our wedding for our friends in a warehouse will be a core memory til the end of time 🍾❤️ by @onetensounds

About a month ago, I was given the opportunity to play at a pop up coffee & music event for @espresso.sessions at 10am. When they reached out to me, they were looking for someone to play melodic and deep house. It’s a genre I rarely get to play in front of an audience but one that I keep coming back to listen to over the last 5 years, and the genre that introduced me to house music. I’m glad to pay homage to it.

Thank you to everyone that showed up and vibed with me on a random Saturday morning. Link in the description! by @onetensounds

Played a set at my friend’s backyard party recently, just as the sun was setting. It was fun af and I loved experimenting with this new wave of “melodic tech house” sound that’s been blowing up in the 6-12 months. Hope you have as much fun listening to it as I did playing it #Techhouse #melodictechno #housemix by @onetensounds

New mix - link in bio!

In the last couple of years, I’ve started to firmly believe that the best curated sets should have ups and downs, or shouldn’t have one sound for too long. Taking it to another level, I’ve been really appreciating sets from artists who primarily play house music but can seamlessly sprinkle in genres like dubstep, trap, techno, and dnb, i.e. @itsthewestend and @johnsummit. These genres generally have different BPM ranges so finding creative ways to flow from genre to genre without having it sound unnatural can be tough, but fun af.

This is my first attempt at that. Enjoy :) by @onetensounds

“Tribal” sounds has always been a sound that I’ve clung to - always trying to find more of it where I could. For the past couple of months, I’ve been on this huge afro house kick and haven’t been able to stop listening to artists like @francismercier, @alexwannmusic, or @keinemusikcrue, and their chill but impactful rhythms on the genre. This mix is inspired by their music and the tons of sets I’ve heard from Tulum aka - an island mix.

#afrohouse #deephouse #tribal #latinhouse by @onetensounds

A new series where I don’t plan anything in the mix. I just sit down when I’m bored record what ever I play and how I’m vibing that day. I TRY not to care if I mess up and just upload.

This is an effort for me to stop being a perfectionist when it comes to mixes, trying to plan every little thing and starting over if I mess up the slightest thing, even though 99% of people wouldn’t even notice. Hopefully this will encourage me to release more and more.
