Standing in front of this pagoda got me thinking…

A pagoda isn’t just a beautiful building. It’s a symbol of patience, purpose, and building something that lasts. It wasn’t created overnight. Every beam, every level, every detail was added with intention until it became something people travel from all over the world to see.

Building a business is no different.

We live in a world where everyone wants the final result. They want the successful company, the freedom, the recognition, the financial security. But very few people are willing to embrace the years of uncertainty it takes to get there.

They don’t see the early mornings, the late nights, the failed ideas, the empty calendar, the clients that said no, the mistakes, or the moments where you questioned if you should keep going.

Just like this pagoda, every stage matters.

The foundation isn’t glamorous, but without it, nothing above it can stand. Every challenge you overcome becomes another level. Every lesson you learn strengthens the next floor. Every setback teaches you something success never could.

That’s why I don’t compare my Chapter 5 to someone else’s Chapter 20 anymore.

I’m focused on laying bricks today that will still be standing years from now.

Whether you’re building a business, raising a family, chasing a dream, or becoming a better version of yourself, remember this:

Strong things are built slowly.

Keep showing up.
Keep stacking one level on top of the next.
Keep trusting the process.

One day, people will admire what you’ve built without realizing how much it took to get there.

But you’ll know.

And that’s what makes it worth it. taken in Pagoda (Reading, Pennsylvania) by @onevrythng

Back at it with Gina Baum and we always have a good time creating.

In just 2 hours we filmed a full month of content so she can stay in front of buyers, show up online, and still focus on her clients.

We also filmed a tour of her Regents Glen listing at 1164 Rosecroft Lane, York, PA 17403.
If you are looking to buy in York put this one on your list and reach out to Gina for a showing. 🏡

I used to think I needed bigger projects, more clients, and to scale everything faster.

But lately I’ve been realizing something different…

I actually own a business.

That still feels wild to say out loud.

Five years ago I was just working on the craft. It started with music videos. Just trying to learn, get better, and keep going.

Then three years ago, I really started taking this seriously.

Now it’s weddings, local businesses, and opportunities I never saw coming. I’ve even had the chance to do work for Wawa, which is one of the biggest companies I’ve worked with so far.

Of course I still want to grow. I still want bigger projects and more clients.

But I’ve also been thinking about how easy it is to keep chasing the next thing and forget to stop and thank God for what’s already in front of me.

I’m grateful.

Grateful that I even made it this far.
Grateful that this is real.
Grateful that what started as just working on the craft turned into an actual business.

This used to be the dream.

What a great night with an even better group of people.

A big thank you to Isaiah Shickley for taking the time to share his experience, answer questions, and give everyone a behind the scenes look at what it takes to build a successful real estate business.

These events are about more than just learning. They’re about making connections, sharing ideas, and growing together.

Thanks to everyone who came out. We can’t wait to see you all at the next meetup!

Happy Birthday to the strongest woman I’ve ever known. ❤️

Looking back, it’s incredible to see how much you’ve overcome and how much you’ve accomplished. You left Trinidad and Tobago to build a better life, went to school, worked hard, babysat, and even slept on trains because that’s what it took to keep chasing your dreams. You faced racism and discrimination while trying to build a future, and on top of that, you endured criticism and incredibly tough expectations from our strong Caribbean family. I know much of that came from how they were raised and what they experienced themselves, but that doesn’t make it right or make it any easier. Through every obstacle, you kept moving forward as a single mother, determined to give your children opportunities you never had. You moved us from the neighborhoods of Baltimore to Baltimore County, and then made the decision to bring us to Pennsylvania so we could have an even better life. Every sacrifice, every long day, every sleepless night, and every difficult decision helped shape the person I am today. And as if all of that wasn’t enough, you battled cancer and won. Watching your strength taught me that where you start doesn’t have to determine where you finish.

And somehow, you never stopped growing. I’ve watched you go from a single mom to finding love and getting married, from working tirelessly for others to becoming a business owner and opening your own restaurant. You’ve raised eight children, built a life that so many people only dream about, and continue to chase new goals without letting fear hold you back. No matter what life throws at you, you always seem to find a way to overcome it, and that never ceases to amaze me. You’ve shown me that growth never has to stop and that it’s never too late to chase another dream. Thank you for believing in us, sacrificing for us, and showing us what resilience, faith, and determination truly look like. I wouldn’t be the man I am today without your example.

I love you so much, Mom. Happy Birthday! I hope this year brings you as much joy, love, and success as you’ve spent a lifetime giving to everyone around you. You deserve it more than anyone. ❤️ by @onevrythng

Liberty Barbell just hit their 2 year anniversary. This is a highlight video we shot about a year ago and it’s wild to see how much has grown since then. Huge respect to Ned for building something real from the ground up and creating a space where people come to level up every day. Proud to be part of the journey and excited for what’s next.
