Freedom after 50. Helping women over 50 build their own online businesses with digital marketing, working from their phones, alongside their 9-5 jobs.

POSTS STORIES REELS

Two and a half years ago, my world changed overnight.
I went from an energetic, otherwise healthy 57-year-old to someone diagnosed with breast cancer.

Everyone was shocked.

I'm the health conscious one in the house.

I eat mostly healthy, I exercise and I take care of my mental and emotional health too.

Treatment was something that I don't wish on my worst enemy...

But I tried to stay positive and got back into the gym one week after the radiation finished.

A strange thing about having had cancer though, is that everyone thinks that after the cancer is removed and gone from your body, you live happily ever after.

But it changes you. The doctors, in their wisdom?, keep talking about recurrence and put so much fear into you that cancer becomes a thought that can dominate your thoughts.

That's why I decided to go back to teaching. It shifted my focus and kept me so busy that I didn't have time to ponder on cancer or recurrence.

But it was too much for my "still healing from chemo, surgery and radiation" body.

So at the end of last year I stopped.

But I still needed an income. I was very stressed. What was I going to do to replace my salary? How was I going to survive? How will I be able to retire?

These worries kept me in a stressed state - not good for your health...

I found a digital marketing system that I can do from home, working according to my schedule. I turned 60 this year. And I'm happy to say that I can be at home and still earn while I learn new skills and be the proud owner of my own online business.

Yesterday I went for follow up scans.

And I'm sooo happy and grateful to be able to say, "I'm officially two years cancer free."

If you'd like to learn more about my digital marketing business, comment START and I'll send you the details.

I've been there

Wanting more...
Thinking about...
Scrolling for hours, watching others do it, but not actually doing anything different myself.

And that's the part that keeps most people stuck.
Time will pass, whether we do something to change our lives or not.

Things started shifting for me when I stopped complaining about my situation and took action.

I started with a done-for-you system that guides you step by step.

If you're in that place now...
You don't need more time

You need a decision to start.

📉 Progress online is often quiet at the beginning. You're learning, adjusting, understanding.

But without a clear path, it feels like nothing is working.

💡 Progress comes from consistency with direction, not constant change.

Switching strategies resets your momentum every time.

That's why many people stay stuck.

Not because they failed.

But because they never stayed long enoygh to see it work.

I used to look at this person and that person, jumping between the different ways to do things, until I came across a beginner-friendly, done-for-you system that shows you exactly what to do step by step. Now I work at it consistently and am seeing results.

Have you ever stopped something too early because it felt slow?

Slow doesn't mean wrong. It often means you're building properly.

Drop a 🧱 if this makes sense.

They just stopped talking themselves out of it. by @onlinewithnardia

Digital marketing and building an online business made me start thinking differently about retirement.

For so many women over 50, retirement isn't something they look forward to...

It's something they're worried about.

Because the reality is that one salary can feel like it's already being stretched to its limit.

Bills.

Groceries.

University fees.

Medical expenses.

And then there's retirement savings - which often feels like there's never quite enough left to put away.

So I started asking myself a different question.

What if I didn't have to rely on just one income?

I'm not talking about quitting your job tomorrow.

I'm talking about learning a new skill and exploring whether you could build an additional income stream alongside the life you already have.

For me, that meant learning digital marketing and starting to build an online business.

It wasn't about getting rich.

It was about creating another option.

More choices.

More flexibility.

And hopefully, more peace of mind about my future.

💙 Now I'm curious about YOU...

If you could build an additional income stream alongside your current job, would you?

👉 Comment YES if you would.

👉 Comment MAYBE if you're interested but still have questions

👉 Comment NO if it's not something you're considering.

No judgment, I genuinely want to know.
